I bought a new home in Charlevoix and have spent a good part of my life at the Home Depot, (it seems). They installed all of my kitchen appliances and did a great job, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer dryer. Since then, I have been there frequently to buy the things that make a home liveable. SInce I am not a great handyman, I have needed advice on many of my purchases, and they have been there to support me.

Easy parking and usually have items I need in stock

I’ve experienced a poor attitude from associates 3 times in the last 5 trips. Just be genuinely interested in my needs. It’s tough to find good help

I had "Shelby" place an order on line over phone for me and once again she did an OUTSTANDING job. She deserves a raise!

Didn't have everything I needed had to make some substitution and purchase from another store.

Brought in my 17 year old color faded stickers for formulas paint colors custom mixed for our custom built house for the trim color and the garage doors color on our house. I also had. 1gallon of each mostly dried up old cans with the pair Cole drips to work with. They got the formula figured out and 1 gallon of each ready very quickly for me to take home. U enjoyed their friendly professionalism. Then as I rode the store provided electric scooter out the cashier was friendly, efficient, and professional topping off the HD experience that exceeded my expectations and created satisfaction.

Every time I am in Petoskey, I visit this store and everyone is always so friendly and helpful.

Brenda Scott helped us through the process of buying a washing machine and dryer. She filled us in on all of the options and also helped us get the proper promotional credits. I would definitely go back to Brenda for other major appliance purchases.

Never once have I encountered a more friendly and helpful associate at any store like Henry in the lumber department. If you're in need of some assistance on your next trip, I would head his way!!

First time visiting the Petoskey, Mi location, gotta tell you it was a great experience. Friendly helpful associates and cashier Lynn went above and beyond to answer my questions. I’ve been to Home Depot’s all over the United States and Petoskey, Mi location by far is the best I’ve dealt with. Kudos

Was paying my bill on time and all of a sudden when I was approaching a major reward they revoked my status and credit card even though I paid the minimum payment. The reward program is a joke. I had to spend $10,000 to get a $75 off voucher. Home Depot gets most of their goods from China so hopepfly tariffs make a big impact on this lousy retailer. Employees could care less that there are even customers. They are concerned with restocking.

Quick friendly efficient service to get a key made and the record of the key loaded to the cloud...at the same cost as elsewhere that doesn't offer that benefit...

The purchase of the water heater went fine. It was an item not in stock. It took about 21/2 weeks to be delivered to my house. My plumbers cut open the box. It was damaged on both side. The power vent on top was hanging on by about one screw. They said it was the worse damage they have ever seen of a new product.

The manager was an out of the box thinker, he step up to make a wrong situation of a condition of a factory sealed appliance not My (consumer) job to make it right. 100 round trip due to living rurally to make an in store purchase that when I arrived home it wasn’t an condition anyone’s wildest dream the vacuum was found in a sealed box. But it was like we were back in time when a hardware store took care of a consumer, I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!!

I shop at Home Depot because they have what I need and I can get help when I need it. I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to purchasing home improvement items. My family often sends me to pick up items and I need to ask for help to get the right thing. Home Depot has the people that can help me.

If you can't find a way to shorten your request reviews I will never do another.

Could not get my daughter in her regular wheelchair to the Christmas trees. Trying to exit from the restrooms most of the lines were locked closed. Sure seemed like a fire hazard to me.

We are doing a major update to our home and have been in the store on quite a few occasions over the past three months. We have never encountered an associate that was not both qualified and helpful. The service desk has been outstanding as we have had several online orders and returns based on changes in plans at the house. We could not be more happy with the overall performance of the entire team and look forward to continued business, even after the updates.
