I visit lots of the home depot stores with my work. The Coit rd store in richardson has lots of stock and great employees. One named Liz always held people to find what they are looking for. The manager Stephen is a champ that can fix any register issue and help find you special orders. The return desk is run efficiently and gets you in and out quickly. Customer service is driven by good management and this one is especially good.

Convenient location, I go there often for all kinds of products. Maybe just an off day for Home Depot

rental department was bad. They said they had 3 units. 2 did not work. when I got home i had to clean the nozzle on the sprayer before it would work. Staff was not knowledgeable.

Today, they were out of stock of what I needed but I always like this store and the people in it.

My visit to this location on 2/13/26 was remarkable. The atmosphere was so obviously helpful, friendly, professional and clean that I immediately knew it must be under new management. (It was a stark contrast to the grim decaying atmosphere of the past decade). I pray the new manager, Pam, will get the support and recognition she needs to continue this positive leadership and influence she is bringing to the culture of the Home Depot service team at this location. Its refreshing to not be dreading a visit to Home Depot. A big thank you to each person who assisted me on my recent visit to purchase lumber and gardening products.

Home Depot personal was very helpful on my big order , they make it easy for me

No one is there to help and all self checkout where the clerk just stands there.

They constantly block aisles up with cardboard displays for gifts at Christmas. I usually can’t get my cart through.

My last 2 visits to this store, I needed assistance. Pleased to say that both gentlemen on these visits were most helpful to me. Once in electrical & once in plumbing. Much appreciated.

The store associate is incredible (her name is CiCi or maybe SiSi). She was in the appliances section as I wandered the store to find metal shears (I was way off course). With total confidence and accuracy, she took me exactly to where the metal shears were located in the tool section. I had misread the aisle and bin number for the product. The store was only open for another 5 minutes, and on an injured leg, she patiently walked me over. She has the store wired. She's awesome and Home Depot needs to take good care of her. Bought a charger and a cube for my phone and it works great.

There is so much merchandise piled up in the main aisle to the cashier you can barely push a cart through. It’s very annoying and crowded and disgusting and inconvenient.

Need to make a return and exchange a couple of outdoor garden hose connectors. Help at the return desk and also helpful in finding the connectors I needed

I was in the home depot to buy/order kitchen cabinets. There was a guy sitting at the desk in the kitchen area so I started asking him questions. He was like I don't work this area and pointed to another desk where a guy was sitting then said go ask him. We walked over to the other guy sitting at the desk reading a book. I asked him if he could help me and he stated that he was on break. No further communication him as he shut it off and kept reading his book. We finally get two guys to help us. We asked if there was anyone there that could help us with the cabinet design. They said there is one person that does that and he told us when she worked. Said an appointment was not necessary. We come back on the said date and she was busy doing office work. We asked for her and was told that we will just have to wait because she was the only one that knew how to adjust the books. We asked for a manager for assistance. Finally she comes out and we sit down to start the design process. She then tells us that she is really new at the designing process and would not be able to give us the visual of the room we designed. I understand that people are new but this would have been great to know up front. So we made an appointment with a designer at another store across town. It was frustrating to have to come back three times just to have to drive to another store. Please train more people to help your customers.

I purchased one sample of the hinge pair to see how to mount it and determine the location of the mounting holes. This package did not have the template for locating the holes, and the dimension for determining this on your own do not exist, either on the instructions nor the manufactures web site. This is a major drawback to using this product.

There is an older black female with extreme braids/extensions that trolls customers at self checkout, SHE iS A BULLY for no reason. You'll know her when you get close by, always shouting at people and rarely provides actual assistance. Employees avoid her for same reasons. What is wrong with store manager for allowing this continued abuse?

I needed a Ryobi battery that was behind a locked case. No one in the department was available to help, and when I used the QR system to call for help, no one came. (And they want you to check yourself out too!) I can never find enough support at this store.

Almost always has what I need.

Good experience purchasing 3M electrical tape. Employee was very helpful in showing me how to purchase the item partially using a store credit.

I don’t know if I can call the store clean. If you know what you need and it isn’t something that needs questions answered, say a roll of tape. This is your store. Otherwise go somewhere else. You will have a difficult time finding an employee who knows the answer to any basic question.

Do NOT use the self service propane tank exchange. When I used it on Sept 2nd, it somehow created a duplicate Home Depot account for me and transferred my phone number, home address and purchase history from my existing account to the new account. A week later when buying something else, a clerk could not find my account using my phone number, so I lost my Military discount for that purchase. When I got home, it took about 25 minutes on the phone with Customer Service to determine what had happened, delete the new account and move my phone number and address back to my original account, but all of the purchase history that was moved to new account was lost. Do NOT use the self-service propane tank exchange - go inside and purchase a redemption code at the regular register.

Restrooms are at the front of the store. Most things are easy to find. Folks are helpful at checkout.

Employees at this location went over and above assisting me to get my key made even though one of them interruped his dinner break to help me!

First time at this location and it was great today

I went to this store with a list of seven items I had pre verified online that said they were in stock. Of the seven items only one was actually in stock. This is a frequent fault at this store
