What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Entered through the entrance door marked “Entrance”. Was rudely stopped by an employee who said I could not go in that way. I replied the doors are marked “Enter”. His reply which was in a nasty tone, “Well if you could read, this is curbside pick up”. I saw no signage that indicated that, only the “entrance” signage. I noted the name on his store apron as “Mr. Steve”, he was a large bald man wearing a scowl on his face which was easy to see as he was not wearing a mask, nor did I see one on his person anywhere. Not sure what his issue was but if personal, he needs to leave it at home. Once inside it was just kinda of ironic as how the customers were held to strict Covid-19 measures, measures that “Mr. Steve” felt didn’t pertain to him. I have been trying to support all the businesses I can during this Covid shutdown, I saw the adds from Home Depot and thought I would give them support. After today’s experience, I will stick to doing business with their competitors.

Store access due to the virus issues is a pain in bottom. You enter at contractors area in order to go to the garden center only to find out you have to go back out walk all the way around again to stand in line again to get into garden area. How about a sign instructing people before they have to go through this like I had to. Also the check in people for line going in, not wearing masks properly. Its suppose to cover both nose and mouth, and not just the chin.

If you are a senior citizen please do not go to this store because the customer service at this location is absolutely non-existent. You be bette off going to another location where the staff actually cares about it's customers and likes to help them.
