The Home Depot Rental Center at Deerwood

Kick off your next home improvement project with confidence and the right tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Deerwood Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbelt with the tools you don't have at home. Rent the tools you need and bring them back when you've completed the project. If it turns out the rental tools would be more useful than you thought, ask about purchasing used tools. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.

Rent Concrete Mixers to Finish That Project
Stabilize your outdoor jobs with a concrete mixer rental. Bigger projects need larger mixers. Towable concrete mixers make it easy to get your equipment to your home or job site. We also carry concrete grinders and concrete saws in various sizes.

Tame the Trees and Lawn
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and the driveway and sidewalks with a pressure washer rental. Your outdoor oasis will be refreshed before you know it.

Truck Rental
If you'd like to rent a tool but lack the room in your car to transport it, let us help with that, too. Check out our flatbed trucks or Load 'N Go rentals and rent a truck. No need to worry about taking up valuable driveway space with an old pickup for the rare occasion of hauling items. Just rent what you need when you need it and keep your driveway open for grilling, hopscotch, or a game of catch.

To get transportation and tools for your moving or DIY project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in Deerwood. Renting the correct tools for the job is important, so let us help. We're here to help you get that project done.

How do I rent trucks and tools?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which trucks or tools you can rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You could also visit our truck rental or tool rental pages to see if what you need is available at your store. For more info on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent a tool for a day?

Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and long-term jobs aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I bring the tools back?

You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a week?

Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before you select a vehicle.

Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
