What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

  3. Go to designated Curbside Pickup location at The Home Depot store you selected and follow the instructions received in your email or text notification for Curbside Pickup. This store is well run and less cluttered than other stores north of this location. Staff was also a bit more positive - better energy on the day I visited. The cashier, Larry, at the Pro entrance/exit really knows what he's doing, go to his line if you want to get in and out quickly

No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. Instead I got scolded for being in the key drawer.I was trying to figure it out for myself. The woman who help me was rude from the get go. Where did you get this key? The man Must have made this at the other key station. I told her no. It was made right here, I stood here and watched him. Again, she said he didn’t make it here. I said, yes he did. One more time. I was beyond irritated at that point. When she was done with the keys, she told my son one more time...he didn’t make these here. He Made them at the other machine. It’s good I did not hear that. I think I’ll start going to Lowe’s... bye! The store was not clean, organized

Three people helped me a very ignorant person when it comes to fixing stuff. Crystalle, Jim and AJ. Helped me in every department I needed. They to me, went above and beyond the customer service we have become used to receiving lately. They are top notch, knowledgeable and very patient with me. It is nice to see people who make it so obvious they take pride in what they do. I will drive the extra 6 miles to return to this store next time I need anything. Special thanks to Jim and AJ.
