I was helped by Janice in Hardwares and ended up with exactly what I needed although I didn't even know name of product and had to describe it!

Johnathan in gardening was a wonderful cashier and extremely knowledgeable!

We had placed several orders online and had one defective item to return. John happily and efficiently took care of that, checked our outstanding orders statuses, and placed a reorder for the defective item.

I received great service from the cashier.....I had a question at the return desk and she was very efficient in helping me with my issue. She even helped me find the kind of flowers I was looking for in the garden shop.

As soon as you walk in. You are greeted by someone. And then you get directions on how to navigate the Home Depot maze. Made shopping easy

My husband prefers the El Toro store in Lake Forest over other Home Depots. We drive a little further just to shop at that particular store.

Our bathroom was falling apart and needed major upgrades. Home Depot supplied me to have enough credit on my card to have it remodeled. they even had a contractor to come out and give me an estimate. Home Depot given me the credit to do the job. My bathroom looks great. It took a couple years. But the loan is payed off. Thank you.

I was stopping in to return an item and the customer service representative, Garry, realized I was not having a good day. He stayed positive and helpful and put a smile on my face.

Purchased a washer, dryer & refrigerator here and had it delivered within a week. An excellent selection to review at the store with ample stock for delivery. Moving can be stressful & the idea of being without key appliances for weeks (as would have been the case other places we looked) was daunting. Grateful we didn't have to sacrifice what we wanted for when we needed it, especially on an expensive purchase like appliances.

Ask for Gary in Customer service or Janice in Hardware and tools section . You can't go wrong .

This store is one of the best Home Depot stores. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond for you here.

One of the guys helped me for over an hour walking around with me and helping me collect everything I needed including cutting the lumber to the right measurements and making sure I understood the building process -- even showed me a picture of how it needed to be assembled and what it would look like.

Clean, organized and incredibly well staffed, this HD has the best employees, incredible selection and i had no problems finding anything on the contrary i had 3 separate employees make my problem their problem throughout my visit and worked like a relay race to get me as fast and efficiently as possible to the finish line! Janice and Donald are incredible!!!!

Customer Service unable to answer questions about the revised Veterans' Discount, sent to "Head" Cashier who was discourteous and abrupt. California DMV ID with Veteran identification no longer sufficient to prove status. HD would rather I sign into account while at register, scan ID, and hold up other customers.

It is unpredictable how long the lines will be in the Pro-check out and how long it will take. I try to go to the section where the cashiers, Marie and Cesar are working because they are efficient and friendly. Sam B. Is also very fast and helpful.

Marilyn should great customer service by walking out behind her register to find customers who were ready to check out! Very Friendly and puts a smile on your face.

Jin was my cashier and I had a question regarding returns and exchanges. After answering my question she added “I don’t even know why you would ask that.” Didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to ask cashiers for simple information.

I originally went into the LN Home Depot store to find Pet’s Turf (1002412493). Unfortunately, they did not have it. However, the employee there (Kathleen) was very helpful and contacted the Laguna Hills store to see if they had any in stock. While speaking with Kathleen, in addition to my previous experiences with this specific product l, I know that the Home Depot online inventory is inaccurate. For example, it showed the LN store had 7 of the aforementioned Pet’s Turf product in stock when in reality they had zero. Fearing this issue would happen again, Kathleen spoke with LH personnel and was informed they too did not have this product - even though the online inventory showed SEVEN of this product in stock as well. I contacted this El Toro store (Lake Forest) via phone. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the employee I spoke with. She was in “customer service”. I explained to her the reason for my call and asked her if there was any of the above mentioned product in stock. She told me they had several of them available per the online inventory. I requested she send someone to physically verify that due to the reasons listed above. She informed me she couldn’t leave her station but told me she would work on getting somebody else to check. Additionally, she stated that the only employee in the flooring section was on his lunch break until 1245 PM This was not helpful at all considering it was about 1130 AM. I was placed on hold and never heard from the first employee again. The line was disconnected. I called back the second time and spoke with Remy. I explained to her the situation and requested her assistance. Initially, she pretended as if there was phone issues and told me “she couldn’t hear me” and asked if I was “on speaker” as if being on speaker was why she couldn’t hear me. She told me she did not know who I spoke with prior to speaking with her, but she recommended I either wait for another hour for the flooring associate to return from his lunch break or she would contact a manager to help me. I requested to speak to a manager. At that time, I was placed on hold and then the call “disconnected”. After speaking with Remy and being disconnected, I contacted a family member while being in the same place I was standing outside of a food place in LN. I spoke with said family member without any issues on and off speaker. It appeared to me based on my experience that the associates simply did not want to help and/or were frustrated with doing work. Their laziness caused a lot of frustration or headache for something that could have been done with due diligence and initiative.

This Home Depot is always consistent, well stocked, and the associates are friendly and helpful. Overall, the shopping experience is pleasant every time.

The appliance specialist, Debra De Leo, at this location is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed shopping for a washer and dryer at very good prices while dealing with her.
