I'm writing this because Lukas the cashier was kind, professional and had a great customer service attitude vs one of the other people who was NOT helpful and made me feel like the price problem was my problem. If it wasn't for Lukas I would have left my cart full and left the store. Kudos to Lukas

You cannot go to a home depot and not find the help and assistance you need. Great experience and most knowledgeable staff ever.

Quality in all aspects

This is a great store! I've lived all over Illinois including Chicago Northside, Southside, Evanston, Southern Illinois, Western Burbs, etc.... Have had different experiences at all Home Depots, some good, some bad. I do home renovation and landscaping. There are always things that I need help with regardless of my past experience. One thing I hate about entering a Home Depot is the possibility of not finding HELP for my purchase. Never the case at the Elk Grove Village location. I've been greeted with help and knowledge every time that I enter that store. Now I commit to drive a bit out of the way from my local Home Depot to visit this location BECAUSE I always get the help in finding the product(s) that I need.....and sometimes a better suggestion. I truly appreciate the store. It's well worth the trip.

Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Very clean and organized store.

Loreto in Tools is very helpful and knowledgeable. He found me the right to get my job done and couldn't be happier!

I prefer going to this location the location that is closer to me Isn't always as friendly as the people at this store It's worth driving a little farther for the better service

Customers and/or employees do not wear face coverings ,which leads me to believe that money and profit are all that Home Depot cares about.

If you choose to purchase flooring from Home Depot, hire an installer yourself. The company they use SUCKS(G.S. Flooring). They came out(a crew of 1), pulled our carpet and left...didn't say goodbye, didn't remove the tackboard...just left. A few hours later(after several calls to the company) they called and said that they were not able to do the install because our subfloor wouldn't be able to be leveled. Now we have bare floor and tackboard. We found a local installer that came the next day and it took a crew of 2, 1 1/2 days to complete the install(after I had to remove the tackboard myself). Home Depot refunded the install portion of our bill(with a big smile) but charged us $100 cancellation fee because they couldn't do the install. THEY HAD NO INTENTION OF INSTALLING THE FLOOR THE DAY THEY SHOWED UP. They were there to get the fee for removing the carpet and the "cancellation fee" which totaled @ $500. Not bad for 1 hours work. Meanwhile, we are stuck holding the bag and having to deal with installing our floors ourselves. We like the product but the installation process was a nightmare, I don't recommend it.

I had water leakage from the supply line for a vanity sink. Mike was very polite, professional and courteous. He helped solve my issues.

The service here was terrible. The people at the pro desk were terrible. No wonder they have a rating of 2.5. I wouldn’t even give it that high.

This is our Home Depot go to store. Knowledgable friendly staff. Well stocked store. Competitive prices. Clean store.

Great Store in our home town. Never a bad experience -- always clean and organized -- always an employee available pretty quick to answer questions or give direction to an item. I can even call ahead to make sure a particular item is available and the specific department clerk is always willing to put me on hold to actually check for me. That's appreciated

The store was very clean. I checked the website before arriving and it told me what aisle and bay had my products. I went to those aisles and everything was there! I was asked if I needed assistance and I told them "no thank you". It was great they were there in case I did need them. This is a large store and it possibly would be hard to manuever without some guidance.

The employees at the store were exceptional. They helped above and beyond in my requests.
