Decent prices on tools, lumber etc. Employees are generally friendly. Store is generally clean & organized. It would be helpful to have more than 1 checkout (other than self checkout) open at a time. Sometimes the line gets pretty long. Selection is sometimes frustrating in this store. They don't carry a lot of the stuff you would expect. I look things up on the HD website then find out the store here doesn't have it. It has to be specially ordered & shipped in. Like most other Home Depot stores, if you need help with something, you have to track down somebody to help you. Overall, not a bad store for such a rural & relatively isolated community.

If you need something, find Marcelo! He knows his stuff and is always willing to help! He will make everything easier for you and be your best friend!

The store has improved greatly over the past years. I used to hate going to the store but it was the “only show in town”. Management has improved and the store is more friendly and helpful.

This store always has knowledgeable associates and you generally do not have a hard time finding one either. The store has everything we need or want there and stuff we didn’t know we needed!

Great staff. Very friendly, very helpful. Bought ceramic floor tile and they spent a lot of time helping me pick out something that would fit the decor of my home and match existing 15 year old tile. At the last minute they found one that was less than half my budget so I am extremely pleased with the experience.

The associate in plumbing went above and beyond her role to help me make sure I got everything I needed on my fixed amount of money I had.

I have been working to move into a home in a nearby community and Home Depot's employees have been invaluable in their counsel, problem solving skills and genuine interest in helping me solve problems. Many times an associate has gone out of his and her way to help me solve a puzzling task or just to make my task easier. Last visit Brandon brought wood pellets out to my vehicle to load, making the bitter cold task a simple 5-minute one instead of the 20 minutes it would have taken me alone.

My last experience started good. An associate pointed me in direction of ladders. I picked out the first 20' extension ladder, briefly looked it over and went to pay. On my way to cashier, I happened to glance at the ladder near the foot. I noticed it was bent about 6" from the foot. I took it back, left it on the floor, out of harms way, looked over the next 20' ladder in the stack real well. I purchased this one. The cashier at the "Self Checkout", came to me when I was waiting in line at a checkout with an associate and offered to process the purchase, which I took the offer. Very expedient. I had planned to let the cashier know about the damaged one, but dang it, I forgot, too many other things on mind.

Everyone was so friendly! Loved it!

Great store, all the associates are helpful (except for Wayne with the beard, he seems very confused by simple questions). Well stocked, I always find what I need, Its nice to have such a good experience in a store that has very little competition in town but still maintains excellent customer service.

Ask my wife I am VERY hard to please, I have shopped this store 10-15 times since moving to Elko a couple of months ago and it is excellent. You might think (I did) that because they have a virtual monopoly in town they would not care about their customer service, I mean why work at it if people have nowhere else to go? Nothing could be further from the truth. SUPERIOR customer service all the way around.

I never do this, but the folks at this store are so exemplary I had to say so! Best Home Depot or warehouse store I have ever shopped. I'm 58 and have shopped a lot of stores in four different states. These guys are top notch.

Service is good and helpful

Please do not turn away customers to another cashier that is at other end of the store. I can see if Skyler the cashier had a line of people with returns, it would be common since to take the long walk in 100 degree weather opposite of where I parked.No one in line or with a return just myself, this was unnecessary and rude.

The store was clean and I was helped within 2 minutes after arriving in the water cooler department.I was also helped with weed control.I feel the employees are always eager to help and always feel the small town friendliness.I can always find what I need or can order it and receive the product in a short time.Thank you Home Depot for a job well done and Excellent Service.
