The store is set up as somewhat user friendly, as I found all of the plumbing parts and detailed instruction by a knowledgeable and professional associate needed to get the job done.

RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW HOME. DON'T KNOW WHAT WE WOULD HAVE DONE IF NOT FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THIS HOME DEPOT. HAD ALMOST EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND WE ARE STILL SHOPPING THERE FOR THE NEW HOUSE. STILL WORKING ON THE OUTSIDE AND WE WILL BE PROBABLY LIVING THERE THIS SUMMER!

I received excellent service from the Store Associate Ms. Andrea from kitchen. She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for.

My husband and I were looking for an associate that helped us with getting a special order on our bathroom toilet because the one that was delivered to us was damaged.There was this wonderful lady - that was more than willing to help. She made the whole process of us getting a reorder of the toilet, to getting our final quote on the floors + the installation, to also getting us a special order for our home shades a piece of cake. She was such a blessing in disguise, my husband, our little one on the way and myself are more than blessed having her help us. Thank you so much !!!

I had been shopping for laminate flooring and found the Trafficmaster Colfax at Home Depot to be perfect. They arranged for measuring and when I came in to order the associate Honey was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure I received the sale price for installation. Can't wait to have the floor installed next week!

On a Sunday, when the store was quite busy, I arrived to make a return of items purchased for a local not-for-profit. The pro- desk was not open and I made my return through the customer return section of the store. Two associates- Keisha and Brandon assisted me and were incredibly helpful, remaining professional and focused in spite of difficulties in completing the transaction.

Bought 14 windows and somehow I messed up the sizes. HD was very accommodating and helped me get the right sized windows I needed! Lifting my house due to SANDY and HD has helped me get through the process.

I can't believe how helpful the sales associates were, even walking through the store every associate said Hello, or can I help you, or did you find everything? At check out, because I was having something delivered, they couldn't be more helpful or courteous. A big change for this store. BRAVO

on a Friday Evening After a very tiring Day at work, My 7 year old put something down the toilet causing a massive Clog. I started pulling apart the toilet and had removed the water tank and was getting ready to pull the base when I decided to go to home depot for replacement parts to the toilet. I was already preparing myself for a long night of aggravation and hard work as well as a costly repair. When I approached the sales associate in Plumbing I just asked where the parts I needed could be found, He graciously retrieved what I was looking for and in polite conversation asked what my project was. I told him what I was doing and he Stated " oh you can just use this product here without having to go through all that fuss. he pointed to a simple toilet snake that there where 3 options the cheep, the moderately priced and the expensive professional model. I choose the Cheep model. And to my delight my evening was saved, catastrophe avoided, and my task was completed within minutes instead of hours. Thanks to Demetrius in Plumbing.

Every time I visit the HD in Freeport I find the sales associates very friendly and helpful. I have purchased many items over the years and have never experienced any problems. Mather of fact my roof and kitchen were done by the Homedepot

I had a plumbing project but did not know were to begin. I went the plumbing department Saturday evening and met a wonderful and very knowledgeable plumbing associate by the name of Frank. Frank who had a 15 year badge and was so very tall assisted me from beginning to end. He listened what my project was and was so very patient and understanding. He pulled all the items I needed and explained everything to me. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Frank in an ACE at the Freeport Store. The next time I have a plumbing project I will definitely see Frank!!

My favorite part is browsing all the power and hand tools I can't afford

I was able to find my 2 items I purchased thanks to the website giving me the aisle #'s and bin #'s and the self check out went quickly.

I don't always find what I need at this store, the store on Hempstead is better stocked. I think because the Freeport store is always busier with more people then the one in Hempstead.

Debbie is maybe the most helpful and considerate in-store employee I have ever encountered. She manages employees very well and goes out of her way to make sure all customers get what they need in a timely manner.

Angela is probably one of the most helpful and kindest sales people I have ever dealt with. She saw that I needed help and went out of her way for me. She even went out into the rain to grab me a cart. Thank you Angela!!!!

Store was very clean ,associates were friendly and helpful.This location is cleaner and better than Hempstead although sometimes Hempstead has in stock what Freeport doesn't.

The store is good, but it is small, the store does not have all the products.

I visit this store because it's very close to my home. My only issue is the lack of customer service. Although there are quite a few associates on the floor too many of them seem to travel in groups and facially present the look of "why are you bothering me/us"! A friendly reminder, my purchases pay their salaries!

Terri, who helped us, is an excellent manager. She keeps the store running smoothly and is able to multi-task and deal with a number of customers at once, while remaining completely cheerful. If items are not in stock she finds them and arranges for an easy pick up. We were in the store with our adult son who has severe autism. Sales people are not always nice and respectful to him. She was. That also meant a lot to us. This was the second time we have had contact with her and both experiences were so encouraging when it comes to retail and home improvement service. Home Depot should promote her. She is a gem.

My husband and I usually dread the task of shopping for a Christmas tree. Holding up each tree to be sure it's the right height, undoing all the netting to check it's fullness, and finally hauling it to the cashier and car ( the hardest part). What a di this year! Our Home Depot associate saught us out, directed is to the type of tree we were looking for and made our selection so incredibly easy. In addition, he was so personable and pleasant that our task became a truly fun project. Thank you Greg! He also made sure our tree was cut to our specifications and another associate was available to carry our purchase to our car and secured to it's roof. How lucky we felt to have such a delightful experience thanks to a knowledgeable, caring and professional associate.

The Home Depot in Freeport is the one to shop at. Every time I go there I am met with pleasant helpful staff members. If you need something in tools or hardware talk to Jose - really nice guy.
