Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, setting up appliances indoors, and doing lawn and garden work outdoors. Remember to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature changes by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
