Purchased new water heater… JEM was friendly helpful and accommodating… two other floor employees so rude … JEM made up for the unpleasant people and because of her I will shop again at the Hilo Home Depot

I shopped at Home Depot today for a roto-tiller. I found one that I thought might work. It was locked up in a display cage (a sad commentary on our society, I'm afraid), so I found a staff member in the next aisle and asked for his assistance. He was eager to help (one star). He got the item out of the cage, and explained certain important points about it (another star). I then asked him about batteries for lawn tools. He showed them to me, but I was quickly put off by the price. Not to be deterred, he told me how I could get a battery, AND another piece of gear for less money than just a battery alone (another star). His help didn't stop there. These items were heavy and he even carried one of them to the checkout register for me (a fourth star). After spending a couple hundred bucks, I was so happy that I forgot to buy the $5 item that I went there for in the first place. After I loaded up my purchases, I went back in and got it. To conclude, this Home Depot outlet is always pretty good, but the experience I had today was exceptional.

The Hilo Home Depot has great employees. I want to acknowledge Cade. He went above and beyond to make my shopping experience great. Cade is kind, knowledgeable, patient and truly listens.

These two, wonderful people went out of their way to help me. Not once, but several times. They stopped what they were doing just to help me with every little thing. A lot of the products that I purchased that day were recommended by them. I was very impressed with their knowledge and customer skills. Please acknowledge them for their work

Everyone is helpful and very nice

Was looking at the banana trees for sale outside and noticed they had them placed directly against weeds that were covered in little fire ants. Little Fire ants are the biggest issue on big island. And wreckless plant nursery's are the main cause of the spread. Huge colonies can live in potted plants. At the very least home Depot should have all plants within the green house and be baiting the entire property for fire ants every month including the parking lot which is infested.

I had a great experience with Sales Clerk Kapono. He was very helpful and had great customer service.

I actually had a good shopping experience today at Home Depot in Hilo. Bonnie, in the Pro area helped me with all my delivery purchases and all the items I needed where in stock.

Lack of help, slow pickup process, many special deals not available in Hawaii big island as advertised on home depot, deals should be nationwide.. we are spending thousands of dollars here in Hawaii..

Came in to buy a small refrigerator on Black Friday. The appliance department was a little backed up, so Stacy from the next department offered to process the sale. As I was heading out to the parking lot with the small refer, Louie, who was working in the Christmas tree lot, offered to help me load the box into my vehicle. Both of these valuable employees went above and beyond the call of duty. Aloha!

It was easy to find the products and an employee had a weed eater that I needed and helped me to the check out. Easy to apply for a credit card and got 25.00 off my total. Super happy
