Although our Home Depot here in Hilo has pretty good service in general, the help I received from Harry in the electrical department was exceptional. This was the first time I was attempting to replace some old, worn out electrical outlets and it felt very intimidating. After asking for some guidance, Harry took the time the explain my options and helped lead me to the right items to purchase. After my experience with him, I felt very confident taking on this new project. Thank you again Harry!

The oven in our apartment died, and the estimated cost to fix such an old machine was not worth it, given we could purchase a new range for around twice the price, so we headed to Home Depot. They had a good selection, and the salesperson working in the appliance section was fantastic: she was very knowledgeable and friendly and overall, made the experience easy. On our first visit, she informed us about the process. We did our research and returned today, and she made us feel confident about our decision and the whole purchase only took about 10 minutes. My experience here has always been that the customer service staff is great. This is definitely the first place I go for any home needs.

Jaimie that works at the washer department is a horrible salesperson! She should lose her attitude. If not, don’t work there plain and simple!

We often find what we need here and then some, like really good deals on sale items and the folks that work here are always helpful.

I brought in a brush cutter that I had broken the blades on and not only was the associate Renee able to find the replacement blades for me but she had Gary in rental assist me in changing out the blades because I was absolutely clueless on how to take apart the attachment on my brush cutter. They were both so extremely helpful.

Products are reliable, just check before coming in on inventory if making a trip. prices competitive(locally) and sales /service help is better than average amongst sister stores and rivals

Even with my receipt that was only 24 hours old Jennifer was huge pain. I even showed her the return policy on the Home Depot website and still nothing. Had to wait 20 min to get a manager involved who approved it.

This was my Lucky Day because Steve, the Paint Specialist at the Paint Department, helped me to match the special color that I need to finish the trim on my house. I highly appreciate his expertise. He is knowledgeable, intelligent, smart, high efficient, and friendly. He is the Best! Thank you so very much! He made my day!

we do all our home shopping here.. we own some rentals and our redoing the kitchen in our new home and always go to home depot if you buy too much or wrong thing , easy return

If you get the chance to work with Dorian in lumber he is exceptional! He made our shopping experience one of the best we’ve ever had! He was so patient and talked us through our project and needs. He even took the time to cut the wood we purchased down so we could transport it easier!

The employees at Hilo Home Depot go above and beyond. Erik and Kimo helped me so much with my chicken coop project. They are both so helpful, nice and knowledgable. Kimo spent time doing the math for me after looking at my amateur plans. He saved me a ton of time and money and was so patient and invested- above and beyond. Erik helped me when he saw I was having trouble getting boards down from up top and was so patient- letting me go through boards until I found good ones. He knew a ton about what type of plywood I would need and the qualities of each kind. I am so grateful for all the employees here- they helped make a stressful confusing thing more easy to understand.

I have had consistent great customer service at this Home Depot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and I usually find what I'm looking for.

Our store here in hilo is awesome lots of items when I need it and employees that have obviously been trained well, they are on it I like going to Home Depot and shop! Mahalo!🌺🌺🌺

You need to get more of Kuni. He was fast on curbside. He was wonderful and customer service was out of this world.

Part of it is your employees live here in Hawaii. Aloha is a real thing. So regardless of corporate frustrations, I may have I’ve always treated kindly and with respect by all the people who work there.

I SHOP REGULARLY AT HOMEDEPOT AND FOR THE MOST PART EVERYTHING IS TERRIFIC
