The employees here knows exactly where everything is. Very helpful and Courteous. Every time I come here I get a smile and Hello. Plus the cashiers make sure I get help to carry my Cement and heavy items to my car. All the time!

So many times i walked out because i could not find someone to help me. When i finally found someone, they told me it wasnt their department.

Please thank your employee Crystal for assisting my daughter and I in purchasing our LG Refrigerator. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained each step when our refrigerator arrives, what we must do etc. She explained what items will accompany the refrigerator and what the on site tech will do. Please Thank Crystal for an Outstanding job.

Design consultant Liou Dasler went out of her way to help me purchase 2 heavy toilets. she helped me push the wagon to her desk and rang me up and i could tell that she loved her job and loved to help customers. Home depot is lucky to have that kind of people on the sales floor.

Messed up scheduling.

I came to Home Depot at Christmas Eve around 5:01 pm and supposed to close already. But the doorman let me get what I need for an extra 2 minutes. Got it and got out there whithin the allotted time.

Oct 31 2024 marked a one year milestone as a The Home Depot customer and credit card holder. My one year relationship has been a remarkable one with me purchasing multiple power tool bundle kits at significant savings. My last experience in the Pro zone was awesome as my customer service professional was upbeat and knowledgeable making me feel that my business needs were met with great concern

I go to the Kapolei HD many times during the month and it's a good operation. The improvements to make it great would be... 1. Your personnel at the cashier stands need to have instant back up of other store personnel to aid in the stopping of people from stealing. 2. The parking lot is being used for more than parking. 3. Small items (sockets) in the tool area really need checking to see if/when that item is out of stock. People put sockets back where ever and out of stock items remain out of stock if no one is bothering to check that the right item is in the right location.

I’m very happy to have Home Depot in my neighborhood.

I wanted to find out the cost of installing a toilet. So I called the kapolei store. April Kalama helped me all the way including placing the order online. Folks at this store are always helpful. I don't shop at the other store (Honolulu) as they are always busy and not very helpful. Kapolei store is the opposite, friendly and helpful. April Kalama is the best. Will be back for more renovation projects soon. Thank you.

I not only go to this store because it is close to my house but also because of the customer service they provide. I have had employees go out of their way to assist and even follow up after we were unable to locate something. I have had nothing but positive interactions.

I was asked right away if I needed help finding something and employee directed me to the right isle and even suggested what type to look for for the project I needed it for.

Bought a refrigerator on Monday the 25 of Nov. Right before Thanksgiving cause mine broke. Was told it will be delivered on Black Friday and I made arrangements with work to be off that day. I got a call a few min. ago and they stated that it will be delivered on Dec. 03, after they tell me it will be delivered on Friday, they came the delivery company don't work that day, I believe that if you tell a customer it will be delivered on a certain date it should be honored.Home depot should find other moving companies to deliver as a back up.

I went to this store to get 4 cans of paint samples and research some other items I need to rejuvenate my living room. Very good service in the paint department and when I researched prices for firring stripes. Then the problem. I wanted to price the prefinished wood planking to add to a wall. The first associate was not familiar with the department and directed me to a male associate at the end of the isle stated he worked in the wood department. I went to him and explained I was looking for the prefinished wood planking that comes in a package of a number of planks or slats. He said how long do I need. I explained I wasn't sure how long they are. He said you got to know how long as they come in 6', 12' and 20' boards, then pointed to the unfinished boards. I said no, these are finished boards in a packaging of multiple planks. He said he couldn't help me if I dont know the length and had agitation to his voice. I again explained what I was looking for and he seem to get more agitated and louder. Finally, I told him, never mind I will walk the isles until I find it, which I did. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service that was given and don't believe customers should experience this treatment from a store associate. I will be researching the same product at some other competition stores. Extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. Associates should know the products in their department and use good customer service.

Understaffing is their biggest problem

I just had Home Depot do my vinyl flooring for my entire house and the pricing, customer service and work done was excellent.

It has been over 4 YEARS since I started my project to replace my floors!!! This is a constant problem with several Home Depot stores!!! I order an item, 5” wide oak flooring took 2 1/2 years to get the product delivered and what I received was 3 1/2” wide flooring! I recently ordered and paid for 14 pieces of oak 1”x 12”x 14ft s4s boards, only to be told 2 days later that Home Depot doesn’t ship them to Hawaii but they can ship 24ft 4x8’s !!!!! This is just the tip of the iceberg when you talk about the problems with the Home Depot stores, I could go on about the problems!!!! You need to get the management team out here to fix the problems!!!!! Aloha

Everything at Kapolei HD is just so so, nothing really wow factor! The employees also so so just like another day in a big box business that want to sell but not giving the service that needed.

I always have to yell for help or end up doing self check out where they have a hard time with measured material. The last time I was there five resister clerks were on the computer, two of which were talking and laughing. I had to yell for help, and then someone took me; no apologies and no thank you. I even whispered, "you’re welcome" as I walked away. They need to realize there’s a is a bluer store a few miles away on the way to my next job. TOO COMPLACENT.

Kapolei Home Depot is my go to place for most things, except grindz, I need. They always have what I need in stock. It’s a large area but the handy map on their website is a must have. I ❤️ Home Depot!

Poor visit. I spent $160 & paid with a charge card and wanted the receipt to go to my email but the cashier overrid the system so she could get me out fast. I didn’t even have a chance to press the button on the key pad. Very upsetting, especially since there was absolutely nobody behind me and only one other person in the entire garden section. The cashiers do this a lot and I hate it. What’s the point of being able to select receipt to email if the cashiers don’t even give you a chance to select it on the credit screen.

Whenever we come to this store, if Sonny in Customer Service is there to help us, we know we will get excellent service. He is always so cheerful and friendly and will do his best to help us. The last time we were there, he and Zac helped us load our purchases. We appreciated that since our order was quite heavy. Thank you for having caring workers.
