I purchased an item at Home Depot with a HOME DEPOT GIFT CARD and had a balance of under $10. Under California state law, cards with a balance of less than $10 may be redeemed for the remaining value if the consumer asks. I asked for the balance. The store employees refused to do this. The supervisor at Customer Service acknowledged the state law, but said that Home Depot does not give consumers their small gift card balance. I am sad and disappointed.

THEY HAVE A STUPID BEEPING CAMERA IN THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AREA, THEY'RE TREATING ME LIKE A CRIMINAL BECAUSE I HAVE A PULSE AND WALKED DOWN THE AISLE. THIS IS DEMEANING AND DISRESPECTFUL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I'M GOING TO THE COMPETITION NEXT TIME

Have two choices of Home Depots, one in Santa Clara and one in Sunnyvale. I find the one inSunnyvale very handy (Since they closed the OSH store in Santa Clara). But the Sunnyvale store is not as well organized as the one in Santa Clara and the Santa Clara Store is cleaner.

Picked some sheet plywood and had them cut it. They we so helpful (I am 70 so need help carrying stuff) including the young lad collecting carts in parking lot. Would recommend this store.

Yes - they do have a price match guarantee policy even though their cashiers may say there is none. It's on the policy sheet by check out. The staff working the aisle was helpful, cashiers not so much.

I receive good service every time I go to this location.

Totally surprised how much better it has become compared to nearby competitors. There are knowledgeable people everywhere ready to help. Others are like a ghost town for service.

It would be nice if they had a rewards card without the credit card. Also, they should do a price-match with the competition.

The cashier, Liz was so pleasant to work with. It was easy to see that she enjoyed doing her job, and she did it well!!! Very friendly and helpful. I wish all of the cashiers were as friendly and helpful as she was.

Online inventory not accurate with In-Store Inventory: I discovered Home Depot sells car batteries so I order an Exide Extreme 35 Auto Battery since it had good reviews. After seeing 3 in stock online at the #0640 Sunnyvale store, I purchased the battery via Paypal and planned to pick up. Upon arriving at the store to pick up the battery I was informed by staff that after searching their inventory, there were NO Exide Extreme 35 Auto Batteries on their shelves. Very irritating and inconvenient since all other Home Depots were too far for me to travel so my order was refunded. All my other past experiences at this location have been very positive.

Home Depot in Sunnyvale is probably one of the cleanest and organized store I have ever shopped at. Josh was so helpful and gave such amazing service. I love that the employees are happy, friendly and want to help you. Such a nice hardware store to shop at for sure!

Excellent customer service, organize and clean store. If you need appliances, look no further, this is the place to go!

If you had a hand out sheet (alphabetical) with aisle location of all products, would save "hunt and peck" method. I have trouble with legs and can't walk back and froth across the store. Just got old too fast and have injuries. I think you'd sell more too.
