Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your grill and patio furniture so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so remember to shop before it ends.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water leak inside. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
