An amazing customer service experience, my best in 20 years of shopping at Home Depot.
This past week I decided to order some pavers on sale for pickup. I called the Pro-Desk and talked with Aisha, the associate at the desk. She answered my questions and helped me set up next day pickup.
I called back later, and she helped me change the pickup to same day.
When I received the pickup notification, I got a trailer and went to the front pickup area at the contractor entrance. An associate, in the front Contractor entrance asked what I was shopping for that day. When I said I was getting some pavers she asked if I was Mr. Summers. It was Aisha from the Pro-Desk! She said I could pull in under the loading cover. The entrance to one end of the loading area was blocked by traffic cones. I asked the other associate if the loading area was closed, and she said she would move the cones so I could pull in. She was very polite and moved some traffic cones so I could pull into the area.
Aisha came back out with two other workers, and they decided it would be better to load directly from behind the store. I pulled to the back and Angel, loaded the pallet of 1,000 pavers onto the trailer. Due to the trailer configuration and the size of the forklift Angel could not push the pallet onto the trailer far enough to balance the load.
Elizabeth, Jasmine, and Angel helped me break open the pallet wrapping and move about 250 pavers to the front of the trailer to balance the load. I considered that work to be well beyond what I expected from the loading crew.
All five associates were polite and helpful and exceeded my expectations.

Horrible costumer service
Every single time we go to Home Depot, there is an issue with something, either employees taking our cart and disposing of items that are in our cart that also have our personal items in it or just plain and simple, not being able to help us or show interest in helping us find the item that we are looking for

Meh...
The young man who assisted me with my return was incredibly helpful. After that I needed to purchase some items. I wasn't sure where to find the items I needed, but instead of locating helpful Associates I saw at least two of them on their phone and they walked away as I approached. I finally found one to help me but when I went to the aisle where the item was supposed to be there appeared to be none left on the shelf. I ended up digging through a pile of items to locate the supplies I needed. This was a very frustrating experience.

What really made me want to come back to this store is that the people working that day were happy to help us and had a great attitudes. I really appreciated that.

What a waste of 8 hours of my life
Paid cash. Was sent home with half the product purchased. Returned and waited hours to learn it wasn’t able to be found. Returned the part for refund and was told I couldn’t have money back. They have to send me a check in the mail. So you could take my money , you just can’t give it back?

Come to be ignored.
I’m tired of going in there not saying anything it’s dirty. It’s not welcoming. None of the employees greet you. None of them say hi none of them help you find things they ignore you. When they know you’re looking they laugh. It’s ridiculous.

Wrong database stock
Went in the store to purchase cutting board oil (butcher block). Aisle 09. No oil just conditioner.
Went on another day to purchase pvc plumbing fittings.
Fittings are in a disarray. Who is managing inventory and stock?

The Tuff Shed specialist made sure that I had an appointment with Jeannie since he found her to be so knowledgable regarding the procedure. Get rid of your one line checkout
I hate their one line checkout process. It is so frustrating seeing open register, while being stuck behind someone who is waiting behind someone, who doesn't want to pay with a credit card or use the self service kiosk.

Dewalt 21in. 196 cc E-GOV lawn mower
I bought this yesterday. The lawnmower itself works very well. It cut thick 10” grass no problem. The arms are screw in and feel very sloppy. If you have to tilt the mower back to clean the deck the whole back end angles. 3 star rating. Good motor and mower but the accessories need some stabilization.

Lack of Staff and Checkout Equipment is faulty and under staffed.
3 hours in store due to inadequate staffing and unable to purchase items behind locked barricades. Checkout card readers faulty and delays checkout plus understaffed.

I purchased a washer and dryer, and they came with wrong installation part, then I had no washer and dryer again, they came a second time and still no correct part, now I am waiting on a call since last Wednesday and nobody has called about the next attempt to deliver this correctly!!

Worst Experience- Storm Door Install
I will never again work with the Home Depot. Took almost 2 months for install, and I had to lead the efforts. No communication. Awful experience.

N. Military store in Norfolk employees rock!
I purchased an item and was sent an incorrect item. No one was trying to really help me get the matter resolved luckily for me Stephanie heard the conversation with the store associate and me on the phone and stepped in and took over the call. She knew exactly who forward it to, then forwarded it to Jeannie. Jeannie then took charge, corrected all the wrongs and made it right. Scott played the great part in it too. He tried to assist me when I came in, but unfortunately it needed Jeannie‘s attention. I really appreciate the care that each of these three to make matters right!

Need to hire cashiers
It is very frustrating each time I go to that store and have to wait in line while watching 4 to 5 Home Depot employees standing around only to direct customers to the next self checkout place.

Lots of resources but very unorganized
Checkout lane filtered by a single line is ridiculous and makes it seem we still live in the 80’s. Creating a line for safety reasons I get it- but people who buy products want a choice whether or not they are going to wait in a line. I honestly would stop shopping here all together because of the store setup. Managers need to staff the store better on weekends or hire people.
