What a mess and poor trained associates
This store is a mess and not stocked, they don't carry 2x6 studs or denssheild. Isles are packed with product, not allowing customers to shop, they must not want out business

    Great experience with Beverly in the kitchen design department
    This review is specifically about Beverly in the kitchen design department. I have worked twice with her in the past five years. She helped me design our kitchen, and now our home library. She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. She is a true gem and a great asset to the Morgan Hill Home Depot.

          Found most of what I needed
          Picked up supplies to replace sprinkler control valve. Found most of what I needed except threaded 2” pvc male coupler.

              STOP and CONSIDER
              If you are purchasing any outdoor equipment read the fine print. This store is run horribly and Customer satisfaction is at the bottom of their aspirations/goals. The team is not empowered and will not refer nor escalate to whom can resolve problems. I would stop and consider if there are any local stores who give much better service to solve for your needs.

                Trying to get help at the locked up tools crib was more than a bit frustrating. I was trying to put something together for a special need, and the individual who came to help just wanted to leave.

                  I shop HD a lot and Morgan Hill always tops them all.
                  I shop many HDs in the South Bay for work and personal. As many as 6 different stores and Morgan Hill always has the friendliest and most helpful people. I love going to this store!

                    Hello for cabinet doors
                    Hi there, we normally shop at the Morgan Hill, which is usually a good place to be but this last time I want to buy some cabinet handles and for some reason they did not have what was in their website the amount on their website and what was actually in the box that was where they were supposed to be and when I went to get a worker She went with me and checked it on her machine. It said that they were supposed to be so many just like one on my website I did on my phone and she went and looked in that where it was supposed to be and she wanted to go through all these other ones, but there was only one actually that was supposed to be in that box the rest of them I guess we’re just thrown in from other people or never checked. I ended up having to go to GILROY to get the pieces and actually the GILROY one was right their website and there when I went to go pick them up the amount were matching so that was a good thing in Gilroy. They had them for me but normally I do all my business because I live in Morgan Hill at the Morgan Hill store and we do like the Morgan Hill store so thank you

                          I decided to buy my kitchen cabinets, counter top and appliances at the Home Depot because the excellent service I received from the kitchen designer Bev at the Morgan Hill store. She has great ideas and is so kind and helpful it was such a pleasure to work with her.

                                Smaller store but has most of the stuff I need.
                                For a smaller HD still has most of the stuff I need and one of the better selections of hardwood for the woodworking hobbyists out there, I always look here first for cabinet grade materials-maple, walnut, cherry, poplar, just no exotics but really good for a HD!

                                  No employees around to get copper that is locked.
                                  I wanted some copper piping, but that was under lock and key. I found someone in the front by the self help line. They said they would send someone to unlock it. No one showed up. I asked again and they said they would inform the manager. Again no one came to help me. I finally flagged down an employee walking in the from aisles to help me.

                                    We ordered four new windows in May and three windows were finally installed in August and one window was was the wrong window and is on back order.......so it is now September.......four months after we put in our orer and we are still waiting for our window project to be completed!!!!! do you blame me for the low rating I gave!!!?????

                                      I recently visited the Home Depot in Morgan Hill and had an exceptional experience thanks to one of the employees. I was having trouble finding a specific item and was feeling a bit lost. That’s when a Home Depot employee approached me with a friendly smile and asked if I needed any help. Not only did Home Depot employee take the time to tell me the aisle where the item was located, but they also personally came down to that aisle to see if I was able to locate the item. Their knowledge of the store layout and willingness to assist made my shopping experience so much easier and pleasant. It’s rare to find such dedicated and helpful customer service these days, and I truly appreciate the effort Home Depot employees put in to ensure I found what I needed. Thank you, Home Depot, for having such wonderful staff members who go above and beyond for their customers!

                                          You will be treated with suspicion
                                          This store has so much of its merchandise in locked displays that it makes it very difficult to purchase anything. First you have to hunt down an employee to open the locked area and then the employee insists to walk the item to the cash register. Even if you have to purchase other items. I think it would just be to hand an employee a list of what you want and let them shop for you. Then you can inspect the items to make sure they are good. Besides with tall the locked displays this store gives the vibes of being in a jail.

                                                Downfall continues
                                                Came on a Sunday afternoon (yes, busy time) but garden center register had a very green and inexperienced associate working, who struggled through every customer. Really sad to see this stores slow demise.

                                                  On my second attempt on clearing my drain, Kurt gave me a suggestion, Instant Power Hair and Grease, and it worked. It saved me a plumbers bill as well as frustration / anxiety regarding my stopped up drain.

                                                    Very talkative front-line employees
                                                    I came for 10 of 1 specific item and after 5 min of scan problems, I clicked for help -literally 10 employees at the front, two were standing at their registers, two female employees were hugging and laughing and others were scattered while the register is yelling for help (the register was loud) and no one came to assist. I changed to a register with a cashier and advised that I could not get help. Finally, after a few minutes with the cashier, a female employee came up and noticed no one was at the register I was at, I had been able to scan 1 of the 10 moldings but could not get the others to scan. No one acknowledged me at all while I was attempting to get my items scanned - for at least 5 minutes and no other customer at the register. The cashiers (both) were standing at their stations waiting for customers and not involved in the front-line gab fest the others were having, my cashier was courteous and apologetic. I have had other times where I seemed almost invisible at the Morgan Hill HD and other times where I received excellent customer service from the employees who help in the back. It is a hit or miss if the employees (in the front) are not in full conversations with other each other, it is frustrating sometimes.

                                                      Discrimination and lack of response from the store
                                                      I have a four-year-old son who is autistic. He was so excited to participate in the January 2024 children’s event that allowed children to build a wooden truck. We attempted the activity, however, with multiple kids banging hammers, the activity became very loud and overwhelming so we had to leave prior to him finishing his kit. We were intercepted by an employee who was very rude and told us we were not allowed to leave without him completing the kit. He was crying and very terrified of the commotion so I told the employee he had autism, and we needed to leave so he could find a quieter space to build his kit. She told me that maybe he should not come if he cannot stay in the designated area to build. Repeated to her, he has autism, and we need to find a quieter place for him to build, and again she double down on her discriminatory views and Told us for a second time that maybe he should not come to the future events if he cannot stay to build. She acted like we were trying to steal a kit by taking it with us without building it there, as if she was doing us a favor by letting us go with the free kit unfinished. I emailed the store manager and have not received a response. I also reached out through the corporate customer service channels, and again have not received any type of response. I am not asking for accommodation. I just want to get clarification on what the official Home Depot policy is Regarding the children’s event. I would like to know if children are allowed to leave with an unfinished kit, and what allowances are made for children with disabilities who are not able to stay within the crowded, loud roped off area to build the kit. A few of the other bay area, Home Depot stores allow children to take kits home. I’m wondering why this location seems to be operating under a different protocol and why I Have not been able to get a response from anyone at the local store or from corporate.

                                                            Unfriendly lady at Returns. Never says hello or greets or smiles. Young employees in carpets cannot do simple math. Employees unwilling to cut Poly-Insulation so that it fits into car. Trashy looking parking lot. What is going on at this store?!!!
