What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.

Worst service... actually no service...
waited while an associate assisted another customer... once they were done, instead of asking if i needed any help, the associate turned and walked away..
thought maybe it was a one-time thing, but it happened a second time.
circled the store at least twice... not one associate asked if i needed assistance.
put my hundreds of dollars worth of items back.
needless to say.. won't be shopping there again.

paint department success story
the best place to go for paint. these people are knowledgeable and can work miracles with inaccurate formulas supplied from well-known manufacturers(ralph lauren). they have the knowledge to create the color without the help of a bad formula.

They reassembled my air compressor for free!
I brought in my Ridgid air compressor to be reassembled because I didn't have the tools or skills. They looked at it and said that they would put it back together for free. I offered them payment several times, but they refused to take any. They have earned my business and customer loyalty.
