Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals available at The Home Depot?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including grills, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on DIY projects and spring cleaning by taking advantage of low prices on tools and storage. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with brand-new appliances, too. These incredible Spring Deals run from 4/23 through 5/10, so remember to shop before it ends.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 5/2/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this adorable keepsake box. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
