Yes, the Ontario, OR store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Excellent customer service

I came in shopping for a couple of projects one day, the biggest being a dishwasher. I had no idea what I was looking for other than I was tired of doing dishes by hand and wanting to upgrade. I probably spent 45 minutes with Dale Garmon, an Appliance Specialist, looking at every option on the showroom floor. He gave me pros and cons of everything along with his personal opinions of certain brands as he had been an appliance repairman. After I made my selection, he briefly walked me through every step of installation. I needed to install this dishwasher where I did not have an existing. He not only ordered all of the accessories I would need to do the install but also went and found parts that I would need to complete it. I could not be more impressed with the level of customer service that he offered. At the end he gave me his card and told me if there was ever any question about install or the appliance itself he would do his best to give me the best answer possible. This is why I shop at Home Depot.

Best store I’ve ever been too

Every time I’ve been in this store multiple people have asked if I need help. I’ve been offered help unloading returns and help to load big stuff. David one of the managers went way above and beyond when no other store would. I drive past two other Home Depot’s to get to this one because every time I’ve had a problem or needed a common sense approach to customer services this store has been there. David makes a big box store feel like your neighborhood hardware store. Can’t say enough good things. Jason and Myra at the prodesk also go way above and beyond.

Excellent Sales Service for New Appliance Purchase

I was very pleased and happy with Dale Garmon's performance and service in the Appliance area. I feel like I purchased the best possible new dishwasher on his advice. He also took time to explain new washer/dryer functions as my machines may need to be replaced soon too.

Exceptional, Friendly Service

Vicki and Alexis were very friendly and very helpful assisting my parents in selecting vertical blinds for their new home. Vicki walked my parents through the process explaining and reviewing everything in detail. We were also greeted by several employees with a smile and a genuine willingness to help.

Glidden Premium Interior Paint— No Good

I bought one gallon each of Glidden Interior paint. The first one, Glidden Diamond Interior paint + primer ( with 300-400 sq ft coverage), the second one Premium Interior paint + primer (up to 400 sq ft coverage). I had no problem with the Diamond and ended with paint left over. Then I painted a SMALLER ROOM with the Premium, which the store helper said had little difference, both having the primer. The SMALLER ROOM had only 286 sq ft to paint. The issue is that Premium is less thick and does not cover well at all. With same wall conditions for both rooms, I ran out of paint for the smaller room, with a thin coated wall left to repaint. I had to buy an additional quart, paying more in time and money, than if I’d purchased the Diamond for the small room.

Amazing service

The number 1 reason is the friendly service the team at the customer service is amazing. Abigail was super friendly and provides great welcoming experience. In addition to Bruce he is the innovator of Customer experience, always willing to help. I asked Bruce for some help and he not only assisted m web but stopped by my shop, gave me pointers and followed up on my project. This home depot team is not only my home depot store, but my partners in my current and future projects.
