Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot 4th of July Appliance Sale?

If you're looking to replace kitchen appliances, The Home Depot 4th of July Sale is a great time to shop. It runs from June 16th through July 9th. We've got big sales on fridges and dishwashers, as well as grills, outdoor power equipment, and tools, too. Shop online at your convenience, or stop by the store today.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I repair my roof before summer severe weather arrives?

Ready your home for strong winds and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets into the crevices, you could be headed for major repairs down the line. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent water from pooling on the roof. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed if they're damaged.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
