I found the item that I wanted online, and called the store to make sure that it was in fact in stock. The associate who answered the phone in Hardware was extremely patient and found what I was looking for quickly. When asked if he could bring it up to the Customer Service desk so that I could just run in and pick it up, he very kindly did so. This was helpful as I am a senior citizen and find it very difficult to walk through these huge super stores. The Customer Service associates were also very helpful. I will make this my Home Depot location of choice in the future.

The store had everything i needed to complete my job

I place online order on 11/8/15 for in-store pick up, received email on 11/9/15 stating that my order was ready for pick up. went to the store on 11/10/15 to pick up the order, waited for about 2 hours for the store staff to locate my order - they could not find the order - I NEEDED THE MATERIAL BECAUSE I HAD PEOPLE WAITING TO START WORKING ON A PROJECT. Then they told me that the merchandise I ordered was not available - was not in stock, it was particle boards. I told the employee to locate the boards at a store near by. it took the staff another hour to locate the merchandise for me, even then the quantity I required was not available. Finally after wasting 3 hours in the store I placed my order for pick up at the Passaic store. I added a few more things when I was checking out, and even this the customer service person that was trying to help me could not get right, she didn't place half the merchandise I ordered in the bags. Furthermore, I wanted to get some nails, the Paterson store did not have in stock, but Passaic store did, I asked the customer service person that I will pay for them right now and then just pick them up at the Passaic store with the rest of my order - the girl did not charge me for it. I should have checked my bags and the receipt, but I was trying very hard to hold myself together and keep my composure. I have never encountered such incompetence - unbelievable waste of 3 hours!!!

ALWAYS BUSY BUT EMPLOYEES AND CLIENT NEVER SEEM FLUSTERED OR IMPATIENT. WOULD GIVE FIVE STARS BUT THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT - BESIDES MY NEEDS ARE MINIMAL COMPARED TO MANY WHO MUST SHOP HERE SO I AM NOT COMPLETELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THAT SCORE. I'VE NEVER SEEN INCIVILITY HERE AND THAT MAKES FOR A PLEASANT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.

The store was clean, the shelves were stocked and the associates were extremely helpful.

cashier Tania was very nice and even with the long lines still maintained a smile and was very polite.

We purchased a vanity and a custom made vanity top. Unfortunately our measurements for the vanity was wrong and it could not fit into the bathroom, thereby rendering the vanity top unusable. In returning both units are expectation was that for the off the shelf vanity, there should be no problem and that part of the return was handled very efficiently by the associate. With respect to the custom piece, we were not sure that we would be refunded. The associate worked with us and made the return of the custom ordered top happen, less a re-stocking fee, which we were only to happy to absorb. Kudos to Home Depot and we look forward to in making our next purchase there.

We came in for new Kitchen Cabinets and started working with sales associate Andrews who made the whole process easy and stress free, we will be sending anyone looking for new cabinets to Andres!!

LILLY IN THE REPAIR SHOP WAS HELPFUL IN SIGNING IN OUR TORO LAWNMOWER. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE NEEDED TO BRING IT IN . THE LAWN MOWER IS HARD STARTING AND DIES OUT DURING MOWING. THE LAST TIME THE YOUNG MAN SOLD US A CAN OF STARTING SPRAY. WE HOPE THIS IS NOT AN EXPENSIVE FIX. ORLANDO HELPED US BY STEERING US TO AISLE 13 FOR A LOCKING HUB NUT FOR OUR HOME DEPOT TRASH CONTAINER WITH WHEELS. THANKS LILLY . THANKS ORLANDO.

The Home Depot associates were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Thanks to a group of them in making my shopping experience memorable, I will continue to shop at the home depot (Paterson) instead of Lowes.

I went to the store with my contractor and was getting multiple items for a large renovation. once I was looking around Anthony from the flooring department approached me and asked if I needed and assistance. I told him no i was with my guy, but I was wrong Anthony changed my mind and helped better color coordinate my tiles with my grout and had better knowledge then my contractor. I ended up going a whole different way. The one thing I will never forget is Anthony saying to me that it was my house i had to live there and be happy with what I buy. Most people just want to sell things but he was very passionate in selling me everything. The job was just finished and I am very glad I ran into Anthony for his wonderful advice and great help it looks amazing!!!! thank you so much Anthony.

As a contractor I shop at home depot a lot, this day I needed a variety of items. Shortly after I arrived I was approached by an employee who offered to help me. I told him I needed more then just flooring and he said sure I can help with that. I told him the tile, bullnose thin set and grout I needed and he said no problem then told me to go finish shopping and he would get the items for me. Now I was a little shocked as this has never happened before but I said ok. Not long after as I was in the kitchen and bath section getting vanity's, faucets ext.. I turned around and Anthony was there, I said where is my tile he said waiting for you whenever your ready. Not only did he help me with my flooring he helped me throughout the store even ringing me up so I didn't have to wait on line. I must say Home Depot you are getting much better I never had an such help. Thank you Anthony and thank you Home Depot.

store is conviently located. never seems to have enough staff or cashiers. always takes longer to get in and out

Tony, from flooring was great, I have been a home depot customer for many years and have never received such exhalant service. He walked me to the aisles I needed to go to and even helped me pick out all of my items he even took me to other departments and assisted me in locating all my items. He was a great help and I hope I see him everytime I go to the store. once again Tony thank you very much.

I have never had any problems with this store, the employees are for the most part friendly and helpful. then again most of the time I know what I need. I usually end up walking all the aisles checking out all the new, cool stuff. I feel safe, I say this because of the stigma some put on Paterson and also I save a bundle with the 3.5% tax.

IN ABOUT 2 SECONDS I WAS APPROCHED BY AN ASSOCIATE NAMED ANTHONY IN THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT, WHO QUICKLY POINTED OUT WHAT I NEEDED. NEVER HAVE I BEEN TAKEN CARE OF IN SUCH A TIMELY MANNER BY SOMEONE IN HOME DEPO, ALSO HE WAS VERY POLITE COURTEOUS. GREAT JOB!
