THEY CARE !! Always ask if they can help you! That is very important....

William "Bill" offered help as soon as I asked where to go to order an item. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and speedy. Lucy also offered assistance and was very friendly. My views about Home Depot have changed based on my visit today! They offered a well known brand with many items "included" in the price. I was very happy with my purchase today!!

I went to pick up an online order for my husband and it was the worst online pickup experience in my entire life. First, the line for Customer Service was very confusing. It wasn't like the other Home Depots where there are clear signs to direct the customer where the line begins, etc. I stood in front of the service desk not knowing if I was in the right place. Not one employee said a word to me, I tried to ask questions but was ignored. Finally after what feels like half an hour later, a female employee rudely asked me what I needed. Told her I was picking up an online order. When I realized one of the items given to me was not what I had ordered and requested for a print out of my order. That employee was dismissive, she told me, "you ordered 3 items and that is what I gave you" and she just walked away! Another employee came to my aide and discovered they had given me the wrong stuff and worked with me to fix mistake. If any supervisor or manager of The Home Depot reads this review, my order was released by JXM2150 on 2:55pm on 7/11/2019.

This is a great store. I prefer it to any of the other HD locations around. It's typically not too busy, the staff is knowledgeable and the store is kept clean and organized.

The store was clean and the associates are very helpful and knowledgeable.

This Home Depot defines “easy to shop” everything is originated and employees are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help. Will definitely recommend this place.

The young lady Manager is super excited super helpful always about her store and the cashiers are usually always super friendly this is a great store and of course my friend Gene works here too she’s a good lady Scott, plumbing contractor

This store is great. I went there Saturday to get some bark for my flower beds and decided to buy some new plants also.. The cashier told me I'd save $50 if I signed up for a HD credit card. Since I have a lot of improvements to get done this Spring I said yes to the card. The application only took 4 minutes and off I went. I decided to go back the next day for more bark (50 bags) and they sent Michael out to help load them. He had the forklift driver bring a pallet over to my truck and stacked them neatly in the truck bed. I asked if I could help, but he politely said that he'd take care of this part as he knew I'd have to offload them when I got home. Michael did his job with a smile, which is way more than I'd get elsewhere, and he thanked me for the opportunity to be able to help. The world needs more people like him! He represents the spirit of Home Depot's great customer service!! Thank you Michael for making my day easier!!

Great experience at Home Depot today. I love how everyone was so friendly and available to help but not pushy trying to solve your problem, sell products and get you out. The Store was well organized and clean. I love the wide variety of products to choose from, looking at the clearance items on the end isles and the military discount! My favorite store!

I wanted to make comments on the employees at the Home Depot in Poway. I highly recommend this store as they employees always want to help the customers. I needed assistance in the lumber dept. and Ryan helped me by cutting the lumber. Brad, who is a lot attendant, who helped fit the lumber into my 2005 Camry and placed a plastic red flag for safety. Last, but not least, Bill in Customer Service helped me with this transaction. He also paged Ryan in Lumber for me, and paged to have Brad to help me with the lumber. I just wonder why Bill in Customer Service is never the employee of the Month. He has always been great to me.

There is something going on at the Poway tech center store that maybe someone should look at. The Home Depot that I normally shop at is the Carmel Mountain store but today I needed to go to the Tech center store. The great thing about the tech center store is the parking lot was almost empty. One would not have found an empty parking lot at the Carmel mountain store. Once inside the store I realized why the parking lot was empty. The store is full of employees who have no idea why they are there and know nothing about the store. Today, is Sunday and, obviously, the staff is minimum – almost, nobody. I wanted to purchase lumber at the help desk and have someone help me load it. The help desk sent me to the lumber desk, that someone would help me there. There is no lumber desk and the pro-desk was closed. I asked an employee about a lumber desk and they directed me back to the help desk. I found someone in the store to help me load 10-2x8x12’ boards and 11- 2x4x8 studs, paid at a checkout and got one person to help. On Friday I went to the help desk to have the same order delivered and got into an argument about doing that. Last year in 2018, I had lumber delivered on a Home Depot local delivery truck that had Lumber rack. I was told that I could not have done that because the largest piece that could be put on their local delivery truck was 6’ feet. None of the people I was talking too had any idea what a lumber rack was or that their store had a truck like that last year. Look like they run their employees away too. My last complaint, which, I filed last year. I ask to have 4x8 sheets of MDF milled at 48” O/C. I figured a new store with a new panel saw, that would be easy. I was wrong, they cut every piece a different size from 23 ½ to 24 ½ . So, I now understand why the store parking lot was empty. The store is lousy, and the employees are untrained; but the parking lot is fantastic. I have a hand-cap placard and there are plenty of handicap spots. The other store where I shop is always full and sometimes, I have to take a regular spot. When possible, I will choose the store with the fewer parking spots

The associates need to be better trained in interacting with customers. Certain associates at this store are very condescending and rude. I walked out of the tool rental department extremely unsatisfied and without a solution to finish my project.

The Home Depot Store in Poway a superior store! Well stocked and the best part the have people right there to help you!

Store manager Laura doesn't know what she is doing and should not be a manager. She can't even do a simple return. I came in this morning to make the returns that she could not handle from the night before.I believe she should be replaced or sent back for more training. I also would like to know what she meant by "I heard of you." A manager should not be condescending to their customers. The good thing is that home depot wants the customers to waste their time, filling out surveys. so I am in there every day and will start providing a lot of reviews.The store manager JP is very good at his job and provides excellent customer service. I am grateful for his presence. .

Night manager Laura was very condescending and made a statement that she heard about me. I would like to know what she heard. She does not know how to do her job. Her employees keep screw up on loading, selling trailers and returns. Store manager JP can not be there all the time. Need new night manager. Laura is over her head.

Always great service at this Home Depot store! Employees are knowledgeable and so helpful, it's always a pleasure to shop here!

Spacious customer service great

If you visit the Home Depot store in Poway, you will never go back to any other Home Depot Store. The management team and all of the employees are wonderful, which is unlike other Home Depot stores. When I visit the Poway store, I am greeted by an employee, usually Leah Ellen Dennis and when I need customer service, Bill is always very helpful. After entering the store, I never have to look for someone to help me find something, they approach me with a smile. They are all great at this store. Go visit and you will not be disappointed.

Something always needs attention in my house or garden. My first" go to" is the Poway store. Frequently I need help finding a specific tool or part for my "honey do list" Deciding on what light fixture or what types of bulbs each fixture needs can be confusing. The associates understand and are always helpful. The garden shop is so full of well taken care of plants that it is fun to shop and buy in the Garden Department..

Every time that I visit the Poway Home Depot, I am pleasantly greeted and asked if they can help me. One employee that has been extremely helpful to me was a gentleman in Customer Service by the name of William. He goes above and beyond what a normal employee would do for customers. I have some health issues and William is always willing to help, be kind, and I never leave the store without getting the items that I needed for my home. All the employees at this store are great. I also have to recognize Jake a Supervisor, who really put the Super in Supervisor. Another person would be Tim, who delivered an item to my home. Denise in Electrical was very helpful in my search for items in her department. I love this store.

This store was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. A very special thank you to Chris Kenny for all his effort and showing us the Home Depot website and how to use it. It gave us the confidence to buy everything we needed. Thank you Home Depot for giving us the 10% veterans/military discount, it really helped in making our decision to buy from you.

This Poway location always has everything I am shopping for in stock. The store is clean and always a friendly, helpful staff. Conveniently located next to Costco of Scripps Poway Parkway.

Miserable customer service. Be careful because they cannot handle on line orders properly, charge your card and then never issue the propert refund when the order is timely cancelled.

Several of the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products in their departments. That is especially helpful for me when I am not sure what all I need to complete a project. Shelves are well stocked and things are in general easy to find. Always fun to shop at Home Depot.

This is a great store and better than any other Home Depot or Lowe's that I have visited in the last 2 years. Employees are very helpful. My most recent visit to the store to pick up an item was great. Bill Bouffard at the Service desk was extremely helpful to me as I have been having health issues. He found everything that I needed that day. I will be coming back to Home Depot in Poway.
