I literally just left this home depot that is about 15 minutes from my home and I would like to share my experience. When I walked in, I had no idea where I was going until I saw a very readable sign that said lumber. I couldn't initially see an employee but once I walked around I found 2. They really helped me find what I was looking for & load the product onto my vehicle. They also guided me into strapping it down, making it immobile... which was a great help. The cashier, Tiff was very helpful in helping me open the straps, which wasn't very expensive. The board (16.p/2boards) wasn't that expensive & it has a gloss top. I'm going to make a skate floor, how about that?

It’s okay for customers to purchase a grill on the front entrance that are subpar, but manager refuses to sell a grill on the display bc it’s not allowed by the vendor. I asked the front desk cashier and the manager why is it okay to sell damaged, Rusty grills outside to a customer rather than have the customer purchase a grill on display on the floor..manager said it’s bc of the vendor standards. So I have to return tomo and pick a grill that will be built tonight, so I’m inconvenienced bc of the vendor. Why have grills for sale that are not in top condition??? Why not take a grill from outside and move it inside over night and then place the grill the assembler will build and put it on display. Needless to say not my first bad experience at this HD. Def spending my money somewhere else.

Self checkout dose not work in the Garden department!!! Bring Back the cashiers makes checkout a very long process.

Every employee at this Home Depot location in Powder Springs goes above and beyond to please their customers ie electrical, plumbing. Lighting, flooring, appliances, painting and gardening. Thank you

I surely hope Ms Dorothy is there every time I visit this store. Ms Dorothy provided me with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. She was wonderful. She saw me through the process from beginning to end. Thank you again Ms Dorothy

So this store is very convenient and typically has what I need. The app is helpful and accurate, so most of the time I can find what I need without help, although the times I need help, the folks who work there are great.

Staff in not helpful or friendly.

With the exception of Christmas tree selection that varies from store to store each year, this has got to be my favorite Home Depot location. It is conveniently located in its proximity to my home, and is less than 10 minutes away. It typically has everything I'm looking for at any given time, and the associates are always friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I have to say about this location, is that I found a Google Nest Hub on the clearance shelf once, but when I searched for the price using the app, it was listed as a discontinued product, and was marked down approx 50%. The app also stated that the Powder Springs location didn't have it in stock, so I apparently had the last one avaliable, even though it wasn't in the computer. When I went to check out, I was charged full price, even though it was marked down in the app. The associate refused to match the Home Depot online price, so I wound up paying full price because there was no guarantee it would be available if I ordered it online (per the associate). I will continue to shop at this location, but I have been wary of purchasing anything that is marked "clearance" from now on, since there's no guarantee I will pay the price shown online, if the product price can't be found in the store.

I passed multiple different staff members and each one asked me if I needed any assistance! It was nice to feel like they cared about helping me. Regina ended up being the one to help me with a special order and she was so helpful and kind!

Great shopping experience especially with ordering on line, my order being ready so quickly and the checkout process. Loading my order in the car by your staff was great as well. Great service at the pick up counter!

Excellent Customer Service.

I went into home depot looking for a specific toilet. Mrs. Kim D. was the associate assigned to the area. When I say this lady gave me great service. I cant think of enough adjectives to describes the exceptional service rendered to a stranger. She went above and beyond assisting me with purchasing the right unit to fit my home. She was also took the time to explain parts in a way that any woman would appreciate. Kudos to Mrs. Kim D. Powder Springs will be my go to location from this day forward.

Can't find help quick enough. The individuals that work at the Phone sales desk are horrible at customer service! Horrible!!!!!!!

Staff appeared to be done with their shift before they closed despite several customers being present. Took 4 requests for help before anyone showed up at paint department (me and another women waited at least 20 mins). The lady that finally showed up was super sweet which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. Managers - take advantage of your good employees while the others sit around and do nothing will result in a loss of the good employees

I’ve found that the associates are always helpful with product knowledge and if they can’t help personally, they will get someone who can assist.

I provide handyman services. Have been in most Home Depot’s in and around Atlanta. The Powder Springs store always seems to have inventory to have inventory when other stores do not. Plus it’s always clean with helpful staff available.

Attempted to pick up/rent a flatbed truck after previously reserving it. I spent 2.5 hours trying to process through the "Clear" application. Not only did I not get the truck, I lost time that I could have been working on the project. Needless to say, the project was not completed because that experience cost the project to be pushed back, i.e., the morning was shot. Ended up renting a truck from Enterprise that took less than 15 minutes to process.

I waited 45 minutes to get help in the Mill department. They announced over the intercom that someone needed help in the Mill department 3 times before I received help. Kait came by and helped me out. Kait found the storm doors that I was looking for and helped me get them to the front checkout. I would rate her as A+

My husband wanted to paint the garage floor, he needed assistance on what paint to buy as well as supplies. The Behr representative happen to be there and gave him great advice on what product to buy and gave him tips on how to prep the floor. The Home Depot associate was extremely helpful and knew what type of supplies my husband needed to purchase for the project. The garage floor project was a success!

This store is crap!! It’s so cluttered and messy that you can’t manuver a shopping cary around. The lumber is all warped and unusable plus they are always out of normal items.
