I didn't catch his name but he's tall looks hispanic with a bun. I went yesterday and he was extremely helpful, listened well, offered substitution for things I needed when I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. He was there when i needed him, it was the morning maybe around 8 or 9am. You need to hire more people like him.

Joe and Ellicia are extremely helpful. They both went above and beyond to help me this morning with purchasing lights and kitchen sink sprayer! I'm so happy.

The employees are great.

I had the best shopping experience at Home Depot at 1062 Richard Sailors Pkwy in Powder Springs today. Kim in Plumbing and Val in Hardware when above and beyond to help me with the pieces of a project I was doing. Their customer service was truly appreciated.

Great shopping experience

I came in looking for a car jack and I saw no one to ask until Deb from the Garden area ask if she could help. With a smile and the purpose of making me feel like a valued customer she walked to the other end of the store and got the job done. Not even her area and on her break!! .... I will drive by my local Home Depot to return to your store. She should train HD employees on real customer service. And she smiled and meant it...all star service. Thank you Ms. Deb

I must mention what great customer service I received from Montana at the Powder Springs Home Depot. She went above what most people would do to make my shopping experience pleasant.

She was very attentive and nice! I’m just happy she was here and knew what she was doing.

I was able to get a consultation through Davis and Sons, Inc to install a much-needed water heater in my house. The process was swift and easy. Davis and Sons communicated very professional from signing the contract for installation to install the actual water heater. All I had to do was sit back and relax!!

Came into the store to buy 1 item, but ended up stopping to get plants for my husband as well. By accident, I picked up 2 of the same plant and needed to change one mid transaction. I was in the self checkout line and Ellecia came to assist and I didn’t even ask her to step up to help. She let me know that the items could be left at the register while I got the plant I needed. She also printed a suspended receipt for me so my purchase could be made without having to ring everything up all over again. It’s the little things that make an experience good for a customer and I really appreciated her kindness, anticipation of my needs, and friendliness.

Mrs. Kim D. from the electrical dept was very informative & friendly. Mrs. Ingrid was knowledgeable as well & very patient.

I like this store enough that I visit this location and the Dallas Hwy location even though they are further away than 'my store (East West Connector). I used to frequent this store because they were less crowded and the associates seemed friendlier and more willing to assist. My last few visits haven't been as amazing. Tonight - my associate as super friendly and thorough - even went so far as to walk me to shelving and hardware - to look for a mounting bracket and a replacement mailbox door. Unfortunately, right as he was finishing up cutting my shelving, he decided to tell me that the price per cut is $1. I remember YEARS back there used to be a sign posted at various locations, but no one ever seemed to enforce it (I even asked the first few times I saw the sign at any store). I commented on the fact that there was no sign here. He said he thought it might be at the other saw. We checked. It was not posted either place. (I took photos). He said he wasn't keeping track of the cuts and he didn't charge me for the cuts where he misunderstood my directions, and the first two cuts were free but somehow I still wound up owing him $4. I didn't argue, but I did ask for a manager at checkout. The manager waived the charge but also told me that the price per cut is $0.50, not one dollar. (Looking back on it - I think the cashier actually TOLD the associate to be sure to charge me because when I was waiting at the saw, she shouted something to him that I couldn't hear and they had a bit of a discussion and he said, 'okay, I will.' And then later, when she was checking me out, after I'd asked for a manager she said to me, 'Do you have anything for me?' I started to to tell her, No - then I realized she thought I was trying to steal by not telling her about the cuts. This is the same person who saw me come in with the wood. So I said, 'No, I don't - at least not yet - that's why I asked for a manager.' And I explained the issue. The manager was nice - admitted that there is a problem with inconsistency in enforcing the policy and confirmed that they should post the signage again.) My last visit before this couldn't find anyone in plumbing, yet there were 4 associates in hardware chatting while one of them made a key for another guest. When asked, one of them told me the plumbing guy should be 'over there' but to come get him if I couldn't find him. I walked past the 3 plumbing aisles, didn't see anyone, so I went back. By this time, they'd all dispersed except one guy. He said he couldn't help and acted annoyed that I wanted him to page the other guy. I went looking for the other guy who was on his cell phone at this point. He acted HIGHLY annoyed that I'd taken him up on his offer to come get him if I couldn't find plumbing associate. He was pretty rude and distracted the entire time we interacted and he cut the two pieces of the PVC at an angle which made my job a lot harder than it should have been once I got it home. So - it's stuff like this that makes me give them a 3 star rating versus a 5 star. Back in the day - nine out ten visits were going to be extraordinary at this store. Now it's 50/50 ... roll of the dice whether you're going to have a good experience. I also understand that this isn't just an issue at Home Depot, that all industries are struggling to find helpful, engaged, friendly people who are willing to work. Oh well - as long as I'm a DIY'er - I'll always shop at Home Depot.

I've been to Home Depot stores all over and this location does have some of the best people I've delt with.

I received the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time today at Home Depot in Powder Springs. Fantastic place!

There are many 'younger' folks who work there, and they are standing around talking so you would think they are not busy, but they are just avoiding work. They are lazy and unhelpful. Husband and I (in our 60's) were buying lumber, all associates ran the other way so they would not have to help us load. America's youth seem to be lacking in helpful spirit, but sure think they are worth $20 an hour.

I brought a gift card for father's day 2023

I have 3 Home Depots about equal distances from my home. The one on Floyd Rd & E/W Conn. really sucks....can't ever get anyone to help or answer questions. The other 2 are great with the personnel eager to help

We received excellent customer service and help from Wilmot. Fantastic gentlemen that went the distance to help us. He offered to get a forklift to load heavy concrete blocks directly on to my truck.

Bought a tool ( weed wacker) , had a problem changing the cutting cord. An employee helped us tremendously on how to fix it ! Kudos to Home Depot , Powder Springs

Been in a lot of Home Depot stores in my lifetime but this one exceeded my expectations in every area. You can’t walk by an employee without someone speaking or acknowledging you. The service is impeccable and will continue to business with this location specifically.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE

We were at Home Depot to purchase window blinds. The sales associate was knowledgeable about the blinds and made some very helpful recomendations. Not only was she professional, the associate was friendly.

Just finished a plumbing repair. As usual the local Home Depot had everything I needed so I could finish the job with minimal trips for supplies.
