Have noticed a marked improvement in the Glen Allen store in the last year , starting to go there more often than Loews, especially for my Lumber needs.

Josh and Dale greeted me and helped me pick out a saw as a gift for my husband. They were extremely patient and thoughtful when helping me select the best saw for our needs. This store is always clean and well staffed with exceptional employees.

When I arrived at the store I was greeted by an associate. I was asked several time if I needed any assistance during my visit.I did need assistance getting a key made. The associate helping me was friendly. When I was ready to check out I asked the associate who was near the self checkout how would I ring up the key I had made, she told me there was a barcode on the back and it would scan like the rest of my items. Nice friendly associates, clean store. I will be doing more shopping at this store in the future.

THE SALES PERSON VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE PRODUCT. WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR US AND I WILL BUY FROM HER AGAIN.

The big problem is that the computer rejected the returns even though I have the receipt. Store manager was not helpful. He said I should write to the Home Depot corporate office for why the comuter is rejecting the return. This is crazy .. store manager get paid for what? He was also not very friendly but hostile when we question that it is his job to correct the problems with their computer.

My experience was great. The people were so kind and helpful and I didn't waste my time. The employees were amazing at what they were doing and lead me to a great deal.

Home Depot provides great service and the associates are very knowledgeable and courteous!

Wee had the receipt and within two days but the computer declined the return. The stoer manger was not very helpful and told us that he does not know why the computer is rejectiung the return. He should over ride the computer but he either did not know how or does not have the authority to OK return. We we assk him why can't he find out the glich in the compueter, he reduced and was not gracious! Because of this bitter experience, we shop at Lowe's. We still have product and do not know what to do with it. It is a waste of our money. Home Depot's competitor Lowe's have outstanding policy and their people are very helpful in solving problems.

I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank a great employee at my local Home Depot store (#4611). Bob (dept D25) really went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and make sure that we got exactly what we needed. My son and I needed wired alligator clips for a school science project. We were immediately directed by one store employee to the Electrical section of the store. Unfortunately, the store doesn't carry pre-wired alligator clips - only clips to which you can crimp a wire. Unfortunately, we didn't think the crimped wires would work well for the science experiment. Another store employee, Bob, agreed that the crimped clips wouldn't be reliable. Remarkably, Bob then offered to solder wires onto each of the alligator clips for my son. He did this on his own time after work that day, and called us the following day to pick up the custom-made wired alligator clips. Bob delivered one of the best and kindest customer service experiences ever! Thank you.

In the past, I had bought appliances from a "scratch and dent" store to save money. After a little research, I found that I could have new appliances for about the same money because Home Depot does not charge for delivery. Delivery was scheduled and timely. A good experience all around.

I started going to the website, prior to departing for store and looking up the items I want to purchase. When you do that you can get the Aisle and Bay number that the item is stored in (plus it also identifies the number of items in stock at that store). It makes it invaluable to have that information as you can go right to the area in the store (saves walking around looking, and also insures that they have the quantity of what you want to purchase). Combine this with the self service check-out you are in the strore a matter of minutes and you are on your way. It is GREAT!

Bob Copeland is a wonderful kitchen designer. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process easy and even made sure I knew about future sales!
