The gate at the Garden center does not open the same time as the store. If you buy some garden items (mulch, plants, etc.) you have to bring them inside the store for check out.

I ordered online, had it delivered, had to return it and get a different one, have the first one picked up and the second one delivered. If this sounds complicated, it wasn't. The employees at East Baton Rouge were very patient, polite, and helpful thru out the entire process. I highly recommend the East Baton Rouge Home Depot.

I brought a beautiful washer and dryer and the employees always make my day .The worker Annemarie kemp is a beautiful worker .I met some awesome people at home Depot.Everone always willing to help.

I have bought from this store on several occassions. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

If you know exactly what you want and can locate it in the store self checkout will minimize your interface with employees. You can’t depend on inventory listed on the web site. Few if any store employees are willing or able to assist. Substantial additional training is needed here

Home Depot recommended that I cancel my order since they could not give me a date or time for delivery. Delivery wanted to come after the delivery gate was close. Delivwery called and said that Home Depot did not tell them that the gate closes at 5:00 PM. I told sales to make sure you tell them to schedule delivery before the gate closes at 5:00 PM

I visit this store a few times a month for projects around the house and yard. I’m an engineer, so I plan and I have high expectations. When younger I managed a retail store, so I know what it takes to do it successfully. The management of this store does an amazing job of assuring that the inventory is adequate and in good condition. The store is kept clean and orderly every day. The employees are always busy addressing the above tasks, but they take the time to proactively find out if I need help. Anytime I do ask for help, the employee does a great job of satisfying my needs. They usually are able to help me find a solution. These observations apply to the last 3 or 4 years. Before that the store was average. Now, it is very above average. This is a reflection of great management!!! This is the store on Highland Rd. in Baton Rouge.

I have had the same problem at that store two other times.

This store let someone use my account without my permission and will not return my calls

I purchased 2 doors and a vanity for bath room. really great prices!!

I traveled and extra 30 minutes to this location based on the stocking quantity of 26 on the Home Depot app. The product was not on the shelf and the associate I asked could not help me locate the product. I was forced to buy a more expensive product to not waste more time and traveling.

Customer service at this store is awful. Lots of employees standing around but none willing to help.

Sky - Customer Service Dept. area and Jacob - Asst. Mgr. both helped me with my pickup order, since I didn’t receive an access code to the locker pickup. Excellent service and friendly/helpful personalities. I love shopping at this Baton Rouge Highland Rd store location.

I bought this item late 8/2024. Shortly thereafter Milwaukee had a pair (impact and ratchet) for the same price. I couldn’t return because I had discarded the box and use the impact gun once. Make it right, I want the ratchet.

We wanted to praise the help received at the Home Depot on Highland Rd in Baton Rouge. We came in to buy a pellet grill George immediately was there to help. We did not have to look or ask for any help. He absolutely made this the best experience we have ever had a Home Depot. When we were leaving another employee walked over and helped us unload our basket into the truck. I apologize I did not catch his name but he was so kind. We will never shop another store.

Went in for multiple lightbulbs and also some brainstorming for a workaround on a lighting issue. Earl in the Lighting section was available to help on brainstorming for the workaround issue we were trying to solve, as well as provided some alternatives for us. Very helpful. Thank you!

I’m always able to find the exact product or plant that I desire. I purchase many plants and home products from this store. I am never disappointed with any of my shopping experiences or the products that I purchase.

Matthew is the manager in the department with washer and dryers. He was helpful the way people were years ago when they gave you ALL the information you needed and took pride in their work. He told us about the product, the delivery, the warranty, and gave us his work extension, etc. etc. It was a great experience. We left feeling confident

Had a good shopping experience at the Highland Road location. I knew what I wanted and the items I couldn't find I used the website to locate the aisle and bay. Checkout was a breeze and the cashier, Quinton, was smiling and helpful.

Very friendly and professional customer service. Assisted with placing and paying for an order over the phone, had the item ready for pick up the next day, brought the item out of the store and loaded it into my vehicle. All employees involved were fast and friendly making this a very easy purchase for me.

I mean I never had a good experience with associates who actually are nice and helpful for once.
