This is the best Home Depot in the area. I am in the middle of a home renovation and I have purchased a new kitchen and flooring from this store. Brandon was extremely helpful and patient (I'm a bit indecisive at times). I will definitely shop here again!

I was looking for a desk lamp and found the perfect one for my home. I didn't need assistance as I knew where the lighting area was located.

Store was clean and the associates were helpful in finding the products we were looking for. There is always someone to help and answer questions.

Was in the store on black Friday I needed a new microwave I was concerned when I seen the amount of. People in the store that it would take forever to get what I came after but Amber helped me right away and took care of the sale in the back to keep me from going through a long line was out of store on 15 minutes and Sam came right up outside and helped me load Without being ask great store

The store personnel are the nicest people I have ever met-kind, ready to help you and they make you feel good. I have felt that I was not bothering them when I asked a question.

I rarely have to return anything. Usually it is because I bought too many of the items I needed for a project. The young man that waited on me was very cordial and helpful. My wait time was extremely minimal. If there are too many in line for returns or other problems the staff courteously directs customers to the nearest and quickest person to resolve issues. The store is always clean and neat and everyone is helpful and courteous.

An employee helped me to find an advertised chest freezer, then fetched a flat-bed cart for me. One cashier named Alana noticed me pushing a heavy cart (with a chest freezer) and she came to help me. When I asked to have the cardboard packaging removed so that I could inspect it, she promptly helped to unsheathe it. Then I asked if I could plug it in to test it before buying it, she searched for a receptacle and plugged it in, never rushing me. She made sure I was satisfied, managed the sales transaction promptly, then called for a staff member to help me load the freezer in my vehicle. Wow! What service!

My wife and I recently moved here from Bowie MD because of my work. Being a DIY advocate, we quickly found the Hurricane, WV Home Depot store located very convienent to our new home. A very clean, organized and well stocked Home Depot, we were very pleased. What really made a huge difference to our shopping experience was the custom based service that is very evident while in the store shopping. This past week after shopping for supplies to complete our Kitchen counter replacement project, we asked the supervisor at the check-out lanes if there was a contest going on for the employee with the best customer service attitude! She looked at me funny, confused by the question. She responded that there was no promotion, no contest or competition. Rather, this was the norm, help for the customer at every step of the shopping experience. We were blown away after the opposite experience in several other states. We are “Home” and glad we found this Home Depot and all its employees excellent customer service!

The Teays Valley Home Depot has always had everything we have needed and there is always someone willing to help you find what you're looking for. It makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

I gravitate towards this Home Depot. I notice that if I can't find what I'm seeking, the staff can and will. Even as well as the store is organized and stocked, it can be a bit daunting to someone attempting a new project for the first time. Home Depot softens the edge of that stress with friendliness and competance. It's not easy serving the public, but you wouldn't know that by the staff -- they seem happy to help! Also, many of them are so knowledgeable that they can answer LOTS of questions and make sound judgments for alternatives.
