This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot sold to Trex last year. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.

Can I fix drafty windows?
When your windows have a lot of frost or condensation, that's a clue that you need to replace or reseal them. If you can't put in new ones now, seal them with caulk, weather stripping, or a window insulation kit. Clean any mold and mildew first, and wear a respirator to avoid inhaling it. Fill any other gaps with foam tape and cover window a/c units as well to keep the cold air outside. These steps should help stop the cold drafts until you can replace the windows.

When can I use my Blackstone griddle or grill again?
Freezing temperatures put a damper on outdoor grilling. When spring has sprung, bring out your trusty propane grill to warm things up even more. A Blackstone griddle puts a fun twist on breakfast when you cook it up outdoors. Hot food with a steaming cup of coffee on a chilly morning is a great way to start the day. Blackstone flat top grills work whenever you want to grill a savory and delicious meal.

How do I prepare for freezing temperatures and snow?
When you live in a location where snow is possible, it's smart to organize or upgrade your snow removal equipment before a storm hits. Have a gas can ready to top off your gas snowblower if it's not already filled for the season, or check the battery on your electric one. Remember to get out the sleds for the kids, and prep salt or ice melt and a salt spreader. Ensure your outdoor faucets are drained and covered, too, with all garden hoses disconnected. Basic preparations like these keep you ready for whatever winter weather comes your way.

Are Kids Workshops offered at the Wake Forest Home Depot?
Yes, the Wake Forest store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?
Gift cards to The Home Depot are a popular present for the holidays, housewarming parties, and birthdays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. Purchase them at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you're a recipient, you can visit the Wake Forest Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Quick in and out, everything is in it's place as it has been over the past 20+ years unlike other LARGE Home Improvement Stores that move product around making the shopping experience a chore!

            Courteous staff and well stocked.
I can't help it. I'm like a puppy in a butcher shop when I come to Home Depot. There are always a lot of sweet tool shopping 'deals' for gifts or for my personal use that I take advantage of when I'm shopping for other things.

              Poor Service
I bought a GE refrigerator from this HomeDepot back in August and the delivery date has been rescheduled 3 times. Tonight I went in for a refund. Everything went smoothly until cashier Mason (female) helped me. Mason is one of the rudest non professionally associates in this store. If you want to be treated like crap or as a non valued customer this HomeDepot in Wake Forest, NC is the place to be. There are a few super star associates in this store but they are very few in number and hard to find.

Friendly and Helpful Customer Service Rep
I had an issue trying to get a bonus redeemed but once being sent to the customer service for further assistance after the cashier couldn't do it Amanda P was perfectly diligent and provided the needed task while being polite and smiling the entire time! I did appreciate her professionalism.
