Never have issues with returning items ! That goes a long way. Have great respect for Home Depot My personal experience with an employee at the Westport Rd location. He rose in the management and was transferred to your headquarters He had an operation to correct a foot issue. A blood clot went to his brain that resulted in his death At his funeral his Home Depot apron signed x many was given to his parents Thank You Home Depot that meant a lot to me and the many friends he had made. I share that story to many Home Depot employees I meet. Home Depot is good place to work

I went in with my husband to purchase a tool chest for his Christmas present. Was told it would be delivered the following day between 0600-2000. At around 1315 I began to get suspicious so I reached out and was told that The order would be fulfilled by a different store. It was then exposed to me that my order which was to be delivered to my home had been transferred to three different locations thus prompting it to have a delivery date of the following day making it two days from the purchase date. No one reached out to me. I did not receive an email. Nothing was said and nothing was done. Obviously disgruntled over this inconvenience as I’ve sat at home and altered my daily plans the day before Christmas Eve for this delivery. The manager, Caitlyn, stated that “she was going to help me, but since [I was] rude, there’s nothing that she can do“. I hold managers to a higher expectation of customer service, especially when it comes to dealing with orders that are multiple hundreds of dollars and being told that they are going to be delivered on a specific day. A manager is supposed to problem solve and make things right. Having been in management positions before you’re often the punching bag to just disgruntled customers it’s unfortunate but it’s also part of the job. This manager, Katlyn , could not empathize with the customer who is very disgruntled over the poor customer service that she had received today I strongly urge everybody to go a little bit out of their way and go down the street and shop at the Saint Matthews location rather than the Westport Road. However, I would like to give a special shout out to Jayven, Who had actually checked my husband and I out the day that we ordered. He was not only extremely kind, but also very knowledgeable and was very refreshing to see that as part of the younger generation if he chooses to stay with Home Depot, I would hope that higher level leadership would identify his potential and being a better manager than Katlyn. I’ve also reached out to corporate over this situation and Was told that the location that I purchased the cabinet that would be reaching out out to me and approximately 30 minutes. To nobody’s surprise I still have yet to receive a phone call from the purchasing location. The Saint Matthew‘s location manager, Todd, Was extremely helpful and did attempt to problem solve this issue. He even offered compensation back due to all of the troubles and was extremely understanding.

No longer carry tool to open orange bucket lids! No longer carry black and reflective paracord

Won't be shopping at HD anymore, bought a 1900 vanity, then they lower the price 500.00 a week later, Won't give me the difference back

I was so happy that Pat, who works at the customer service desk, was knowledgeable and kind. He took great care of me and wasted no time to help! I will happily return to this store for the friendly customer service.

I think most of the guys working at HD are there for benefits and not to help customers. I passed a employee getting carts from the parking lot, I had a load on a cart, he didn't even look at me just passed me up and went inside. Had to load my material by myself.

Home Depot generally has the products in which my company is looking for nationwide we spend roughly $1.5 million in your store on occasion you still will not have the product that we’re looking for but most generally have been able to guide us to one of your other stores that we also purchased a great deal of merchandise through the Internet

Purchased doors for installation. It's been eight days without hearing from the installers.

Visited this store for porch furniture cushions. They didn't have what I needed. However, the store was very clean and orderly making shopping a snap!

I get good customer service at this location and they usually have sufficient quantities of items I need. Their combination of price, quality and convenience keep me coming back. And the military discount which is much appreciated.

Home Depot is in go-to for everything relating to improving the overall look of my home!

First purchased an electric range. Go to install it and there's no power cord. Find out that was a separate purchase I wasn't told about. Chatted online about the power cord...employee told me the type I needed and sent link for it. Went to store to pick up, got home and it was the wrong cord. So now another trip back there. Pretty bummed!!!!

I am seldom disappointed by HD not having what I need. Often times what they have and what I thought I needed are not the same. Generally speaking HD's solution is way better than my expectation.

Weston at the service desk was very helpful and nice and even thanked me for shopping here. You need more customer service employees like him.

Moved here 2 yrs. ago and Home Depot is across the street from me. Very convenient and each time I go in, someone is always there to help me find what I need.

This is my 3rd LARGE purchase of the Husky brand tool boxes and storage. LaRhonda was so nice and so calm and cool handling the problems of the ad on the internet and store computer did not match as for free delivery. Her professional attitude was greatly welcomed during a stressful situation!!! Thank you LaRhonda!

The store associate needs more training on how to address the concerns of the customers. However the cashier Jason was great. Hats off to Jason!!!

I feel like I was discriminated against because most of the demographic are not African-American at that location. I spent a lot of money with Home Depot cash your name was Pat. He was very rude. When I told him he charged me that the items were not the same. He got out and walked off and left me embarrassed in front of everybody like I did something wrong, I asked the cashier for his name. He refused to give it to me. I asked him for the manager when manager did not apologize for the service. He asked, how could he help explain to him what happened? He still didn’t apologize I asked mag for his name the cashiers name the manager refused to give me his name.

This is a great store with helpful employees and typically quality Home Depot products. I have spent ~ $15,000 here in the past year as I've been replacing a large deck at my residence.

The ENTIRE area of Southern Indiana and Louisville KY. Nobody stocked the Appropriate size. THANK YOU Westport Road!
