Do I need a generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder blocks and brickwork for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
