Rude staff, would not let me look at materials unless I told them what I wanted

I love shopping at Home Depot because I find exactly what I am looking for, the employees are always very helpful and friendly, and their prices haven't gone out of control.

I came to the store focused on renting a floor machine and found just what I needed. I did not expect to but a dishwasher from Home Depot, even though my family needed a new one. But Corbin, the appliance specialist, impressed me so much with his knowledge, honesty, and professionalism, that I purchased a model we had been considering for a while. Obviously, this store is doing something right if the quality of it's employees are any indication.

I have tried Behr paint 6 times over 40 years. Every time I hugely regretted it. It is junk. Last time it was a 1000sqft bedroom. Covering very light green with yellow. Took 6 coats and 15 gallons to cover. That said I have been buying PPG paint but you stopped carrying 5 gal SG exterior deep base in the stores. I needed about 25 gal, had to order online which causes us a week or more delay. Not a happy situation for anyone as I had planned to paint the siding before I put on the trim.

Once again, I placed an order with Home Depot for delivery and once again the delivery driver refuse to deliver stating that they could not navigate the roads. In both locations very large deliveries on semi trucks have been made with ease in the past. This Home Depot store only has one extra long delivery truck…with a forklift mounted on the back. Sitting unused in the Home Depot parking lot. Get a smaller truck to accommodate most neighborhoods.

This store appears to always be critically under staffed. Maybe this store underperforms and cannot afford to have more employees? Don’t shop here expecting to find an employee to help you find an item or unlock something for you. Also, if shopping for a project expect to be here way longer than you are expecting.

The Yakima Home Depot has many associates with extensive knowledge and experience in construction/remodel/repair work. I have always been able to get the information and advice I need to successfully complete a wide range of DIY projects. The in-store and online selection of goods is HUGE, and high quality. I highly recommend this store and the employees!

I love this Home Depot. They almost always have what I want, at a decent price. Also, most of the employees are very helpful. That is a big deal to me. I love walking into Home Depot. Bennett, our golden doodle, loves it too.

Great Staff, good location, good selection of materials. Don’t like how the materials are staged for online orders or the “random” pop-up pallets of seasonal/sale items. Lumber aisle should be left clear.

Julie helped me price countertop options and made sure I knew what was on sale. Jimmy loaded 11 boxes of flooring into my vehicle with a smile, even though it was 96*. Their customer service resulted in the best experience I have had at Home Depot.

I'm a disabled senior citizen who went in to buy a bundle of lath and found a sale bin with better wood at a tremendous savings, but was struggled to pull boards out of a pile. A young clerk picked out the best for me, offered to cut them and carried them to checkout for me, then got a lady to handle the self-service. Tammy was wonderful. She carried the boards out, loaded them in my car, which was an effort, and left me smiling. Great store, even better service. I'm now a CONVERT. HOME DEPOT rules!

Purchased some 16"x24" concrete pavers - each weighing approximately 55 lbs. The first load I attempted to take was substantial in weigh (on a pallet) the employee that loaded the pavers into my truck explained to me how much this pallet weighed and asked if I wanted to split the load - I said "I think I will be fine" he was right! I then came back for the rest.

When we were checking out the cashier said manufacuture warranty was only a year, but someone else stepped in and said it was 3. I was close to purchasing a 3 year warranty for 300 dollars. Wrong info, and not pleasant at all this service from her.

Cooper and Louis were so very knowledgeable and helped us tremendously! We are so impressed with these two employees and our overall experience today!

This is the best team you will ever encounter in not just a home improvement store, but any store you enter. I couldn't recommend shopping at this location enough! Thank you for your more perfect than imaginable customer service! My lawn and I will be forever grateful!

You better walk into this store mentally prepared because it will take its toll on you. Rudest staff (I’m looking at you, paint department girl). Why is the bath fitter guy nicer and more helpful than all associates combined?

Jen at Home Depot made my experience turn around, other employees told me they didn’t have what I was looking for , even though the website said Yakima store had it. (They didn’t help me look) I found Jen and asked her to help, very quickly and politely she helped me find exactly what I was looking for! Give her a dang raise, she’s keeping that place afloat!

I came in worried we would not be able to find the products we needed and well to be honest some employees are not to helpful but today we came across a gal at customer service by the name of DANELLE and she was not only patient but extremely humble. She made our experience totally different and I appreciate that. We will definitely be back now.
