Does the impeller rotate in opposite direction as basket during the wash cycle. PRW700bptdg.
The Infusor plate works alone or with the wash basket to provide different types of wash action including a centrifugal wash action called Centrifusion (cleaning solution is rapidly pulled through fabrics to force out dirt for thorough, gentle cleaning). The Infusor also rotates (or oscillates) back and forth to "measure" resistance on its surface to determine the load size. Lauren@GEAppliances
Depth of drum
The depth of the basket on the PTW700 and PTW705 models measures a little under 26”. This is from bottom of basket to top of washer. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Can you use deep fill on every cycle? And if not, which cycles are omitted from using the Deep Fill setting?
As this is an Energy Star qualified washer, Deep Fill is available on all wash cycles except the Normal/Colors cycle due to 2016 Department of Energy regulations. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Thanks for checking with us. By pressing power that will wake up the display and after loading your washer you simply select your cycles and press start. Note: Unless Bulky cycle is selected, the lid must be closed for the washer to start. Is there a water station cycle available through the app? Also, does the machine default to the previously used setting? If I wash on Normal, but change the temperature to cold, will it default to Normal/Cold the next time I power it on?
Thanks so much for your question. This model does not default to the previously used setting. As the cycle selector knob is turned, the Temp, Soil and Spin settings change to automatic pre-set default settings for each cycle. For TL models with the My Cycle feature, the default settings can be changed and stored. Model PTW705 does not have the My Cycle feature. Joyce@GEAppliances
