A:  Yes, the bags are durable. They're not contractor bags like super thick but regular thickness and can use to bag up a barrel of leaves. THE BOX IS FLIMSY THOUGH.

A:  Depends on what you mean by durable. I used them for leaves and branches. Work fine and hold up well. We also used them to make plastic suits for spray painting. Cutting a hole in the sealed end for the head, then taking a second bad and cutting two arms from the sides and taping shut to create sleeve, the taping them to the shoulder area of the original bag. These make great painting suits and are really cheap to make.

A:  YES! WE USE THEM FOR CLEAN LAUNDRY & PACK THEM FULL OF 50 LB LOADS CONSISTENTLY.

A:  I use these bags for storage. Quilts,towels.Christmas decor stay dust & dirt free I can see the items compared to black bags. They are sturdy.  Don’t rip or tear.

A:  Hi, The size of the bag is 50 gallons which really represents the size of the old metal garbage can of a while back. These bags are what I use for yard waste in my Rubbermaid Roll about garbage can. I use this for my leaves and other debris for the solid waste collections. Image a can about 25-30" tall and 18-20" in diameter. There is plenty of room in the bag and it does stretch sufficiently to accommodate waste. If you fill the bag, you've got some weight to deal with. Also as reference, if you've seen a 55 gal steel drum, it's about that size, just a bit smaller. Gallons don't make a lot of difference really. When fully expanded they are like a column with draw strings. They are great quality and Home Depot does a great job with the HDX brand. A:  It is a 50-gallon bag. This means that it can fit a large round garbage can. Good for holding recycled cans or glass. It is too large for a kitchen garbage.

A:  After zooming in on the product box picture above I can see that the length is 51-1/2" Long X 36-1/2" Wide - Should work for me!
