6.0 cu. ft. Double Oven Gas Range with Self-Cleaning Convection Oven in Stainless Steel is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 549.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my double oven! I love this range! I had the electric version in stainless steel at our previous home and I love that I can use the small oven to heat up chicken nuggets or corndogs for the kids. I would say I liked the electric range better, just because I miss the warming feature. The griddle on the gas range is nice to have though. On the electric version, the interior is a blue/purple color, it's black inside the gas ovens. I also miss the rapid boil that the electric version has. Make sure you read the owner's manuals. I've learned that each burner has a different power so make sure you use the burners correctly (or else you'll burn something quickly or it will take forever for you to cook something). I do wish KA would catch up to some other brands and offer wi-fi capability. I almost purchased the LG version to be able to preheat my oven on my way home from work. It has never worked properly since purchased. The repair service is a joke.. I had to hire an independent repair person to check the oven thermometer since the temp was very uneven. It would reach its temp but then drop 100 degrees! You can't bake a cake like that! The top scratches very easily and the burners are very hard to keep clean. Don't make the same mistake I made buying Kitchen Aide appliances... they are junk! They look good but are awful! I will probably give the stove away and go buy another brand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice, but not nice We bought this a couple of months ago...within a day or so, we noticed that there were blemishes on the stainless steel...what appeared to be scratches on the surfaces...under the burner there was brown spots of some type of residue, inside the glass for the oven it looks like water marks, and the teflon griddle scratched horrible after first use...While it looks nice it does not seem to "durable" in anyway. In fact, it appears to be very "fragile" in the sense that nothing can touch it...as for the brown blemishes and the water marks inside the windows...not sure about those...it seems to be bad manufacturing...By the way, nothing has ever spilled or has been dropped on the oven and we have followed the cleaning protocols exactly. We have a stainless steel fridge we have had for 10 years and has held up better than our new oven... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

However, I purchased this model a year ago and it has never worked properly. I have an extended warranty thank goodness! I've had to call four times because the ovens do not hold their heat consistently. Baking is a disaster, to say the least. Each time a technician visited, the ignitors were repaired or replaced. The fourth time, the final visit required prior to full replacement under the warranty, the technician told me everything was working fine. Coincidence since, even though the problem persists, it is the last call before I can request a replacement and now, because he says it works, I cannot. This is a terrible product -- I was told that the ovens are not made to be used often - maybe twice a year. Twice a year!? Seriously - a double, gas oven? It's a very expensive aesthetic feature in a kitchen, to say the most. Do not buy this product - it's a piece of garbage. And now I have to sell it second hand, if I can, and purchase a quality product -- and it won't be a Kitchenaid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A range that works! Bought this about a month ago to replace a 40+ year old range. Love the upper oven for weeknight use. Both ovens preheat quickly (upper stove reaches 350 in 7 minutes, 450 in 12). I can cook frozen thin crust pizzas in less than an hour now! The front of the range and the oven door handles stay cool. The racks slide easily and are easy to reposition. Love the ease of keeping the cooktop clean. No more hidden goo or popcorn under the stovetop. One reason we chose this model wast that the center burner was oblong and the other burners were centered between the outer edge of the stove and the center burner. The burners on other models were off-center, closer to the center burner. Discovered today that I can turn the burners all the way toward low and the flame won't go out. Yes, that was a problem with my old stove. Still learning about all the features. Look forward to cooking even in the summer! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Range with Great Features I bought my new KitchenAid Range about 2 months ago and am so very pleased. It makes cooking such a treat. Having the two ovens and the five burners allows me to simultaneously make several dishes. The definitely nice to have features include the clock and various times for each oven. Easy to wipe down and keep clean I am very pleased with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one year later One year later-follow up review I still absolutely love this range! And have had absolutely no issues other than a minor adjustment with the back simmer burners. They were adjusted too low on the setting and would go out. Regarding the easy glide rack not having a back stop, my sweetie was able to manufacture a nice fix for it. See pictures. I still haven't tried the convection oven, so no thoughts there. The double oven feature is still the best selling point in my mind. For two people the top of it is just perfect for 90% of my cooking. Unlike my old stove, this one is nicely insulated and does not heat the kitchen up, nor can you hear the gas cycling on off. Suggestions for improvement: for me it would be nicer to have a more pronounced visual indication that the oven is on. A heavier grade of stainless steel for the top should have been used , as it definitely scratches way too easily [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this range - with one exemption. I have one problem that the "jury" is still out on. There are drips (or something) in between the glass on both doors. Have been informed that it is a cosmetic issue and the warranty will not cover this. Even if a service person comes out - takes the doors apart and cleans them - it will happen again & again. Not acceptable for me. It is a manufacturing problem as the double windows should be sealed just as in a double window. It would be costly for a service tech to come out to clean each time this happens. Nothing was spilled on them. I was told is due to steam building up in between the glass pieces. I have only had this unit for 5 months. Love everything else about the range - but the doors always look dirty.
