Q:Can this item be used with sandpaper to age new carpet squares to match older, worn ones?
    by|Jul 18, 2023
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Because the distress to the fibers of the carpet could lead to unexpected stress and deterioration of the intended wear patterns or use of the carpet, we would suggest that you contact the sandpaper and carpet manufacturers for their advice and instruction.

Q:How do you open and close the clamps that hold the sandpaper in place? I?ve squeezed every part of that clamp and nothing.
      by|Jul 12, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  In the middle of the silver paper clamps, there are grey levers that can be flipped up to loosen the silver clamps. This will allow you to slide the paper under the silver clamp. You will then need to flip the lever back to secure the silver clamp back into place.

Nice metal construction that is going to last, not like the cheap plastic rubbish. I used it with 220 to fine sand a floor before the final (3rd) coat.

Couldn't have done the project without it!
The two features most important with a tool like this are the swivel and the ease of which you can change out the sand paper. I was able to sand out in every position with ease, especially, over-head. When it came time to switch out the sand paper, it was done in literally no time, because it didn't have the conventional screw clamp. It had a pressure clamp that had the job done with a squeeze. Finally the pole length was just right, some products are to long and make it difficult in close quarters. If you want to make your sanding job simple and quick, this is the product for you!!

            It's a Wall Board Sander...it works.
No rocket science here. It is a simple wall board sander with spring loaded clamps at either end. I had zero problems using it as a beginner. If I had one complaint it would be that I bought a contractor's pack of sandpaper not realizing that if you wait for the plaster to dry one piece lasts a LONG time LOL.

Pretty okay. Made the corners and edges easier to sand in prep for final mud and paint. The irritating thing about this one (as opposed to an excellent round one I have), is that it flips if you don't keep a perfect angle and perfect pressure--which I didn't. The head is real loose, if you know what I mean. I like that it pivots, but it over-pivots unless you're paying severely close attention. It darn near trashed my drywall at points. Probably not the product's fault 100%, as I'm just a DIYer and could be more skilled. But it did okay, and I'll probably use it for paint prep in other projects around the place. Not on drywall, again, God willing, as my drywalling skills are pathetic. ;)
