      Q:This unit runs about 21 hours on Low mist setting, processing 1.7 gallons in that time. Excellent. How long does it run on the the other settings? I ask because at times a higher rate of output would be welcomed and I expect to refill more often. Thanks.

      A:  Hello, Joel! Unfortunately, the information that you are seeking is not documented. Our engineering department states that based on the information that you've provided from your personal testing that you can experiment on how long the unit will run expecting that initially you will have to fill it more often, but as you get the range closer to what you desire to maintain, the water usage will slow down. -Melissa, AIRCARE

        A:  Hello! The cartridge should be replaced every 30 days or bi-weekly if you have an issue with hard water. Yes, the cartridge is more effective than a filter when it comes to eliminating minerals to help prevent white dust. -Melissa, AIRCARE

          A:  I'm not sure exactly how much it weighs. It is very easy to move when it is empty. I would not recommend moving it when it has water in it. I carry water to it in pitchers.
