Q:Am I able to tint this so it’s black? Also can this be used on pre-painted wood steps?
by|Aug 29, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  I was told when I bought the paint, that the tint that is on the can is the ONLY way that the store can sell it to the customer. As for using it on wood steps, well, this paint is made for concrete only.

Q:Do you think this paint will work on my concrete patio pavers. I am inserting a picture

Answer This Question

A:  I'm sure this will work fine on your pavers. I use mine for my garage but I did paint my patio with regular house paint, spray paint and some concrete paint because I wasn't really caring if it was going to hold up. Now I like the way it looks and it's holding up very well thank goodness. It's been about 6 months and I'm very impressed. Just using regular paint. So I'm sure that this paint would work very well being that it is made for concrete.

Q:How long can I expect this paint to last on a garage floor?
by|Jul 20, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  I put two coats of this on my garage floor and it's only been a few months but it is very durable. I did clean the floor very well. I also used an acid before painting. I don't think that was necessary but I just wanted to make it last as long as possible. So far so good and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. No peeling up or flaking. It just seems very durable.

Q:Can this paint be used on concrete floor of my back porch that is covered but nor enclosed?
by|Jul 20, 2020

Answer This Question

A:  I think this would work wonderfully on your patio/porch. I did use this on my garage floor and I love it but I also painted my concrete patio this year with regular paint, some of it indoor paint, some of it exterior paint, and a couple colors of spray paint and it is all holding up very very well. I did put a sealer over it. A concrete sealer.

Q:Does it prevent water intrusion like drylock wall paint?
      by|Feb 25, 2019

      Answer This Question

A:  Yes, the floor product prevents water intrusion like the wall product. I used the wall paint on the concrete block walls of my basement and the floor paint on the concrete floor...with excellent results! I was tempted to use wall paint on the floor due to lower price...don’t do it! The floor product has a different formulation and stands up to foot traffic, routine cleaning and seems offer better resistance to hydrostatic pressure than the wall product. Be sure to fill cracks and voids in the floor before using the floor paint, it’s not so important to do the same when using the wall product.
