I prepared the floor service exactly according to the instructions--used Drylok Concrete and Masonry Etch & Cleaner to clean the floor. It was allowed to dry for one week to make sure there was no moisture remaining. Then painted two coats as directed of Gull Latex Concrete Floor Paint. Then I left my car outside for a full week to ensure the paint could dry and harden before driving on it. The attached pictures speak for themselves, and show the results of the first two nights of parking in the garage. The tires have peeled the paint complete off of the floor where they sat. I can't believe how much time and prep work I put into this to end up with these results. Based on the results, I'm sure it will get progressively worse looking each day! If I could give this product less than one star, I would.

I absolutely loved this concrete paint. I put two coats on my garage floor after I cleaned it very well with a stiff broom and Dawn dish detergent to remove any oils and dirt. I also used muriatic acid after I cleaned it. I'm not sure if that was necessary but I thought what the heck. I also got down on my hands and knees and scraped with a razor blade anything that needed to come up such as dried paint blobs etc. I was so used to just painting anything on my garage floor and not worrying about what it looked like as you will see in the before picture. Cleaning was the hardest part, painting was a breeze. Two coats of paint and letting it dry 4 hours between coats. Perfect.. Well worth good price. It only took me maybe one and a half gallons if even that to do 2 coats in my 24 by 24 garage... I'm glad I have a little left over just for touch-ups here and there in case I mess up again.. .

This paint went down easy and had little to no odor. The prep-work (which I believe is the key for any painted surface) on the previously painted floor meant scraping anything loose, filling holes and cracks and making sure it was absolutely clean. The area measured out to requiring 2 gallons (1 coat per) according to the specified coverage and it worked perfectly, with a little to spare. The coverage is great and after allowing for the proper cure, seems durable and even. I gave it only 4 stars because 1 of the gallons was received somewhat coagulated, but it really only needed to be stirred and mixed thoroughly. Overall, we're very please with the product, price and results.

This is excellent floor paint and coverage is perfect after 2 coats of application. I used it on a basement floor that had 3 + coats of paint. After prepping per instructions the final result was amazing! I highly recommend this product!

Purchased this product for the concrete floor in my garage. Meticulously followed the instructions. Waited 7 days after application, instead of recommended 5. Parked cars overnight and next morning when I took the cars from the garage, there were 8 ugly bold spots where the tires contacted the paint, it peeled under all 8 tires. Want to mention that tires were cold at the moment of parking the cars. Now I have to remove the paint and use different product. Wasted money on 2 cans and time. Extremely unhappy with this product, would not recommend to anyone.

Covered almost 600 sq' I used it to paint over an already painted surface and it seems to be working out very nicely.

I used 3 gallons to cover my basement floor in 2 coats, went on very easy with a roller, It's never been painted before, 25 year old floor looks great, it's only been 3 weeks we will see how it holds up

Excellent product to paint on concrete floors as a base for peel and stick tiles. Working great for our unfinished laundry room to half bath project!

We are very disappointed in this product. After following all instructions, the paint has not cured properly. The only good thing is contacting the manufacturer. They have been very helpful and hopefully this project will eventually will be okay.

You have to pressure wash the cement first, a must. Then, put on the 1st coat. Do not put on in direct sunlight! Then, put on 2nd coat the next day if it is dry out. This stuff dries fast, within a couple of hours. But I waited 24 hrs anyway. The part done in direct sunlight needs another coat, but it's small. Real nice color, just exactly like the can. This was my 2nd can of paint, and I'm ordering a 3rd for more cement behind my shed.

This is definitely made for concrete...spread just like paint and the 1st coat adhered to the concrete after I prepped the surface with my pressure washer and detergent. 2nd coat finished the job.

Used it as instructed. Waited 7 days before parking the car on it. The car tires leave driving marks every time in and out of the garage and the paint lifted in multiple spots within the first 3 days after sticking to the tires. And why no dark colors like charcoal or black since it is recommended for the garage floor! At least this way the tire tracks wouldn't show.

I like this product and have used it several times over the years to protect the garage floor. However, when contacted with a hot tire, even after it has cured for weeks, there is still some transfer and peeling from the surface of the floor. Perhaps my preparation was less than perfect. but it has kept the garage floor pretty intact for over 20-30 years.

A GREAT Product! While looking for an affordable driveway paint that I could trust I inquired from UGL viua email if they too had a driveway paint that would meet my needs. Well, I received a wonderful email back from their lead product support specialist, Melissa, and she told me the following, "the DRYLOK Concrete Floor Paint can be used if you desire a color, or if you want a clear we recommend our DRYLOK Concrete Protector". "The Floor Paint should be used on bare concrete that has been properly prepared. Etch/grind the concrete until it reaches a rough 120 grit sandpaper profile. Patch any cracks, holes, or seams with our DRYLOK Fast Plug which is a quick setting hydraulic cement. Apply two coats of the Floor Paint, thinning the first coat per directions. Apply the second coat at full strength by brush or roller. Allow 24-36 before rain or before light foot traffic, and allow a full 7-10 days before vehicle traffic for best results". I did what she recommended and WOW, it is beautiful! I used the same paint for my garage floor before the driveway and was so pleased with the result that I was hoping that it could be used as well for the driveway, and I am very glad she got back to me with the ok! It's affordable, UGL is a time tested company, great customer service, slip resistant, and looks great! I used the gull tint but I see that it comes in some other tints as well. Easy to apply and dries evenly. Haven't rolled cars into the garage yet, according to instructions I need to wait 5 days. MUCH cheaper than the usual epoxy alternatives.

We painted the cement man cave floor - my only complaint is that it bubbled up in a couple different spots.We had to go back over those spots, scrape it up and repaint. I really like the GULL color.

Superb paint - goes on very smoothly, easy cleanup. Surface is very durable.

I finally used the Gull Latex Concrete paint and it applied and finished excellent!
