Hi, Tricia! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta R4707 Rough Valve can be a few feet away from the spout assembly. The 7' Leader Hose, RP51099, will need to be purchased. Best Regards, Rosanna
Yes. You would have to buy the extra parts separately.
Yes you can. What I did was to buy a flexible supply hose (stainless steel braided type) like what is use to hook up a dishwasher. Take the hose with you to match up the thread size and also buy a short nipple to join the two. You should be able to find what you need at Home Depot. Pay close attention to the thread of the nipple, I am almost sure it is a 3/8" compression coupling. It has been a few years since I did what you want to do.
I’m not sure about a few feet, but it can be located away from the valves. I believe you can download the installation instructions and that may be helpful.
Yes no problem. You can install it anywhere.
I had a plumber install it, but I don’t think so.
Unknown. It’s long enough in our tub for both my husband or I to rinse off with the hose that comes with it. It’s a tub handheld as opposed to a shower handheld.
Hello Wizzerd, Thank you for your question! We do manufacture a 7 foot leader hose available, the RP51099. This can be purchased separately and used with the Delta Roman Tub Rough-In Valve R4707. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp51099.html Best regards, Tanya
Before getting be sure to find the handles and tub faucet you want to use to make sure it fits not all of there stuff fits there models had to reorder the shower rough in because it did not fit the delta shower head we purchased for the tub
Hi Jeanniekim, Thanks for your question. The supply lines are designed for soldering to 1/2" copper. Please get the correct adapters for PEX connections. Best regards, Tanya
A. Install a 3/4-1/2 reducer. B. If you are looking to increase water pressure, add a splitter before the reducer. You could possibly have 2 water spouts. The secondary one doesn't have to be a regular tub spout. Maybe something like a kitchen pot filler or instant hot sink attachment. Maybe even a garden type nice looking spout. Think out of the box. C. There are tub fillers that fill very very quickly with 1/2' connections. That may be the easiest route.
I have this installed in my jacuzzi tub and the water flow is perfect. I don't know it's gpm. But it fills my 3person jacuzzi within 5min.
Hello Topview, Thank you for your question. The Delta Roman Tub Rough-In R4707 valve has not been rated for a specific flow rate. It does not have flow restrictor devices, so the flow rate will be determined by the pressure in your home. However, you should get between 15 - 20 gallons per minute at 40 - 80 PSI. Best regards, Tanya
You will need to consult Delta to get the flow rate. You will also need to know your application's water pressure along with an assurance that there are no upstream constraints that would limit flow to your unit. There will be a rate for hot or cold only along with a rate for both full on.
Hi CW! Thank you for your question. The handheld can be substituted for any of the roman tub handheld wands. The hose however, will not connect to the roman tub leader hose. Best regards, Edward
Fit it before purchasing
Dear Mimi, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Delta Ashlyn Roman Tub with Hand Shower trim kit can be used on the Delta R4707 Rough-In Roman Tub valve. Best regards, Tanya
No it does not
Hi, Fossilfinder! Thank you for your question. The R4707-PX rough valve would work with PEX lines. Best Regards, Rosanna
Yes you can. My house is pex behind the drywall. It is copper at all the of valves, (toilet, sink, shower). Buy a pex to copper connection. They even have those in sharkbites. I do suggest however, adding a washer to the side of the shark bite you are going to pull on. Makes removal so much easier.
Hi AB, Thank you for your question. The leader hose is part number RP40667. This will have the brass nut that threads to the RP40615 spout adapter assembly. Please call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email cusotmerservice@deltafaucet.com as we would be happy to help. Best regars, Jon
