Q:Hi what shower valves would I need for compatibility with Delta 2-Handle Wall-Mount Valve Trim Kit in Chrome with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter (Valve Not Included)? I intend to have a fixed shower head and handheld shower head ( but no tub faucet).

        A:  Piping the tub/ shower valve body along with a 3 function diverter will allow one to use shower alone, hand held alone, shower and handheld at same time.

            A:  Hi James! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The difference between the Delta R11000 3 and 6 setting diverters is that the Delta 3 setting can be used for 3 different functions and the 6 setting can be used for 6 different functions including shared functions such as a head shower and hand held shower.               A:  3 position will control Shower head Handheld 50/50 shower and handheld  6 position allows additions of body sprays, tub spout without pull lever, or can be used as a 3 position with a pause in flow and duplicate controls.
