Q:I left the bag in a tote outside the entire winter and now the tote is full of water with the bag submerged. Can I still use it and the water its been sitting in?
      by|Apr 11, 2024
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. Hopefully, there was nothing else in the tote. You can remove the water and use in the garden; some of the plant food nutrients may have steeped out of the fertilizer into the water not unlike making a tea. For the bag itself we suggest allowing to dry and then using in the garden. While it will be diminished by being in the water the material will still have some plant nutrients and organic matter for the soil.

        Answer This Question

A:  Mike, thank you for your question. The Garden-tone will be digested by microbes in the soil as well as the Bio-tone microbes we add to the fertilizer.
