        Answer This Question

A:  Kitchen, thank you for your question. This product will work with a drawer that is 24" deep if it is a faceless cabinet. You could also install it into a faceless cabinet with a socket set, however you will not get the full range of motion. A:  What you need is sold by Lowe’s. RELIABILT Zinc Plated Steel Slide Bracket Item #5329133 | Model #D906SEW-ZP-CP It works great with face frame cabinets. The plastic bracket suggested by HomesDepot it worthless and defunct.

Q:There is a force needed to open drawer in first Inch or so. Feels like it trying to overcome mechanism in back. Is this an installation error? Leveling? Toed in or out? I can't imagine cooking with 10 of these installed so I've stopped at one.

Q:The instructions indicate that the slide release lever pulls up. However, both sides have the same orientation and so one side lever pulls down and the other pulls up. Doesn't work.

                Answer This Question

A:  The slides are identical- there are no left and right versions. Removing the drawer once installed (by separating the slide) does require one release lever to be pushed up, and the other down.

Q:I see the width is listed as 1/2 inch - does that mean: 1) both slides together are 1/2 inch, so each slide is 1/4 inch ?or 2) each slide is 1/2 inch, so both together are 1 inch ?

A:  1/2? on both sides is the industry standard.

A:  WidthMadness, thank you for your question. You will need 1/2 inch on each side.  A total of 1" difference between the drawer and the opening.  For ball bearing slides it needs to be accurate also, to avoid binding. ~Best, Liberty Hardware Customer Care Team

Q:Why do these make the drawer to wide to glide smoothly? Are there thinner drawer glides? What thickness are these?

                      Answer This Question

A:  Each drawer slide is 1/2" wide. The exterior of drawer box must measure one inch narrower than the cabinet opening. This is a fairly precise measurement (give or take 1/16" or less). An error of 1/8" is too great to expect proper operation of slides.
