Answer This Question

A:  It’s a white light, if that’s what you mean. Maybe between 3-6k? They work well for my indoor plants. The bulbs last an extremely long time too.

A:  Thank you for your question, the amount of distance and time used all depends on the type of plant being grown. High Light Plants (such as tomatoes, peppers, perennials, etc) would benefit from 6” distance during the seeding stage, and a distance of 16”-30” during vegetative/flowering stage. Low Light Plants (such as basil, lettuce, etc) would benefit from 12” distance during seeding stage, and a distance of 24”-30”

A:  At least a foot, this bulb gets hot after long uses.

          by|Apr 1, 2022

A:  Depends if you are using the. Job for the light or if you are also trying to use the heat from the bulb. 3-6 inches is a good start but as the plants grow, raise the bulb.

Q:The product packaging recommends the light be 5-6ft above the plant, but the light that the bulb emits is quite dim. Is the 5-6ft recommendation accurate and is it enough to supply a plant tree that is about 5feet in diameter of foliage at the top?

                  Answer This Question

A:  The bulb is listed as an Incandescent bulb. Also listed as having a temperature of 250 degrees F. This bulb will be HOT, like all bulbs before LED bulbs.

                  by|Apr 8, 2023

A:  Thank you for your question, 5-6 feet above is definitely a recommendation and not always appropriate based on what plant/tree it is being used with. Feel free to lower/raise according to the plant's/tree's needs.
