A:  The fixture uses a flat wide head, 3 quarter of an inch long screw.

A:  Get some sticky two sided tape.

A:  As long as the screw head fits in the slot, and is not too long for installation, you'll be fine. I used different screws as the ones sent with the light were not as sturdy as I wanted. (I bent them while trying to screw them into fiberboard.)

A:  Yes, this light can be installed over a kitchen sink.

A:  you have to touch the two litle metal contact in the botton of the lamp,just a simple touch.

A:  I'd say you probably need to exchange it. There might be loose connections inside. I've never had this issue with mine. We love it - one touch on, one touch off and it stays on nicely until we decide we want it off. Good luck.

A:  If it turns on but then shuts off on its own it must be faulty. We have to turn ours off otherwise they stay on.

A:  The smaller units don't seem to have this problem. Just this size.

A:  No, this light doesn't have an auto off function. You touch the metal contacts to turn it on or off.

A:  Hi gm, thank you for your question. Since the batter compartment is located on the back of the fixture, you will need to take the fixture down to change the battery. The fixture comes with 2 mounting options. Double sided Velcro tape and mounting screws. With the mounting screw, once it is mounted you can easily slide it out of the keyholes to take it down. With the Velcro option you can gently pull the fixture down. A:  With the screwless install, you pull down to detach from the Velcro.

A:  I used 3m command velcro strips instead of the tape that came with the lights.

A:  is wireless use batteries only AA.

A:  Without actually seeing or handling the specific light , I can tell you that unless it is listed as battery operated, I have to assume the term might better be described as internally wired and furnished with attaching exterior electrical plugs and wires. Ron Norman

A:  I'm not sure. I do remember it being a bit tricky though. I think it might be in the directions that helped me figure it out. Sorry it's been a while since I put mine up.

A:  it is touch activated, u touch the 2 silver contacts at the same time for on and off

A:  Fingers sliding across the switch need to be a little damp. If they're too dry contact is not made.

A:  What is exactly the issue? To turn it on, just find the end that has the two parallel line-shaped buttons ( = ). Touch these buttons softly. Make sure you have put the batteries in the right position.

A:  Your fingers are too dry.

A:  Mine turn off a lot and go through batteries like crazy. Not worth the money

A:  Mine turned off after 10 seconds, I replaced the batteries and now it is fine.
