Q:WHY is this listed as wireless? There's nothing wireless about it. There's a cord that plugs into a socket! Wireless means NO WIRES, in other words, battery run. VERY misleading. Typically you don't have a electrical socket in a closet!

    A:  Without actually seeing or handling the specific light , I can tell you that unless it is listed as battery operated, I have to assume the term might better be described as internally wired and furnished with attaching exterior electrical plugs and wires. Ron Norman

      A:  I'm not sure. I do remember it being a bit tricky though. I think it might be in the directions that helped me figure it out. Sorry it's been a while since I put mine up.

            A:  What is exactly the issue? To turn it on, just find the end that has the two parallel line-shaped buttons ( = ). Touch these buttons softly. Make sure you have put the batteries in the right position.

                                A:  You need to remove the lid that hosts the batteries by pressing gently the buttons on both sides near the switch. Using both hands, slide the lid outwards (keep pressing the buttons). It will come out easily.

                                  A:  The only thing that is MOUNTED under the cabinet, is the bracket that holds the actual light fixture! This is what you mount under a cabinet first. Then, you take the light fixture with the new batteries installed and slide the fixture into the bracket from right to left until it clicks in place and your'e done! We had to replace one light fixture after 2 yrs and it was easy as the bracket was all ready installed and ready for the new one! WE both love these touch on/off lights under the counter and they are BRIGHT too!

                                  Q:I purchased this light two weeks ago. I installed it and turned it on. It has been working fine up until today. It cuts off on its own after a minute. I need the light to stay on. Not sure why it's doing this. I have already adhered it to my desk and have gotten rid of the box. Not sure if they will take it back at the store or not. Is there some kind of mechanism that will keep the light on until I need to turn it off?

                                  A:  I'm no expert, but did you remove it, remove batteries, then re-insert batteries and try it again? This is not a high dollar item, so you may have just gotten a "lemon" If you have your receipt, return it or exchange it. Sometimes they can give store credit cards if you do not have your receipt but return the packaging. I've NEVER known Hd to give customers a hassle on things like this. By the way...if you replace it with another one...it too will slide into the same mounting!

                                  A:  I only know of the on / off switch. Home Depot will have a record of your sale if you purchased the light with a credit card. I would return the light for a new one. I had one installed and it stopped working. I had to buy a new one. Good luck.

                                    Q:I have replaced the batteries and cannot re attach the unit to the tape. Is there a trick to this? Do I have to replace the tape every time I change the batteries? Very frustrating.

                                            A:  Not certain how long the batteries last, but I'm satisfied with the life of the batteries in other applications of the same light.

                                              A:  It will depend on how long you leave the light on and what type of batteries you're using. We have two of these lights, one has Duracell AA the other has rechargeable AA, and though we don't use them that often the batteries have lasted for months. Again, this will depend on how long the light is left on but the good thing about LED bulbs is that they draw little current.
