Q:Will this also except a THQP115 breaker

Answer This Question
A: I have this box. The product overview above correctly says this panel takes the THQP ("Q") breakers. The letter P designates the thin 1/2" thickness breakers. All acceptable breakers are listed on the back of the GE panel carton so at the store, you never have to try out the shelf breaker for fit.
However these thinner 1/2" breakers can only fit in lower 20 slots, not at the spaces left of the 100A Main Breaker. Those 2 spaces only take the "QL" or 1" breakers. Therefore 20 thin + 2 thick = 22 = max circuit capacity as correctly stated in Home Depo's Specification page.
Internally, The 2 neutral busses are not connected for versatility (unless you use the supplied ground screw as instructed).

Q:The picture that you have on your site shows 4 paddles on the main breaker that are bound by a rod -- normally this is a single or double paddle. So, does this support 2x A and B phase or just single lugs for each phase?
Thanks,

Answer This Question
A: GE uses 2 100 amp single pole breakers in parallel to make a 200 amp protector for each phase
Normal residential power has 2 phases , thus looks like 4 single pole breakers joined together

Q:The dimensions listed are confusing. For one panel the smallest dimension is called "depth". For this panel, the shortest dimension is called "height" and listed at 5.5 inches. This implies that it is made to go in a 2x6 wall cavity. Which is it?
