A:  It is recommended to install the Wall Mounted console as that will give you access to operating your garage door opener from your garage, but it is not required. You will be able to operate your garage door opener the same with your remotes that are packed in and from your smart phone through the Aladdin Connect app.

A:  A standard outlet needs to be installed within 3 feet of the powerhead. If a standard outlet is not installed within 3 feet of the powerhead, you will need to contact an electrician to have one professionally installed. The use of an extension cord is not recommended as it voids the manufacturers warranty and is dangerous.

A:  Yes, the Safe-T-Beams are required to be hardwired into the powerhead. A:  Hi Brandon - You can use this model to replace the IS550/B garage door opener. You will need to replace the powerhead and rail with the new ones that are included.

A:  Here are the main differences between the 4063-TNMSV and the 7155D-TSV. The 4063-TNMSV model has a 140V motor that is rated 2 HPc. It also is a screw drive model, that will have a 3-piece C-Channel screw drive rail. The 7155D-TSV is rated 1 HPc and has a 5-piece belt drive rail. Additionally, the 7155D-TSV includes a battery backup and the 4063-TNMSV does not.
