Answer This Question

A:  I think you can do that. The best way to find the answer is to call your local store.

by|May 22, 2021

A:  Hello Zippy, Oftentimes, a customer will order the product then have it cut at their local Home Depot store. If you would like this, check at the Pro Desk to see if a special order direct from the manufacturer is possible.

    Answer This Question

    A:  I wouldn't use 1/4 inc thick for a desk.

    by|Apr 22, 2021

A:  Hi Rice, Our product specialist has suggested 1/2 in. plywood or even 3/4 in.

    by|Feb 1, 2021

A:  Yes, it's large enough but if you want to use it for a desk, make sure you put support pieces around edge and center.

      by|Apr 22, 2021

A:  I suppose that you could but it is very thin and may not be good for a desk. I would go with at least the half inch thick for a desk.

        Answer This Question

A:  I would say Nope! Too thin.

        by|Nov 12, 2020

A:  I do not recommend it for floors. It is plywood and will delaminate if it gets wet over several days.

        by|Nov 12, 2020

A:  Could work but certainly not my first choice - only 1/4" so I think very thin for any wear, not sure what you mean by floor mat but for any open areas I would want a better grain pattern.

        by|Nov 12, 2020

A:  Spin1070, This product is not recommended for flooring - as an underlayment for another flooring product, yes - but not as the main flooring.

        by|Nov 12, 2020

A:  Not a product I would use for your project.

A:  Dujon, If you scroll a bit down the page of this link (It is a link to the plywood product about which you inquired.), you will see a chart of various wood products and their best uses. Your product is best for indoor usage. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Sande-Plywood-Common-5-2-mm-x-2-ft-x-4-ft-Actual-0-205-in-x-23-75-in-x-47-75-in-103064/20209379. It looks like there are 3 products listed for roofing. A search of the various products will show you what Home Depot offers.

                Answer This Question

A:  NO. I would not recommend as it is not water-proof. I believe that anything used in the bathroom area should be made with water-proof glue and treated wood.

                by|Apr 15, 2020

A:  We recommend using 1/2 in. thick plywood for your desired application.

                  A:  I would say no.

                    Answer This Question

A:  I am not sure what the glue/bonding agent was used. I am not aware of formaldehyde being used to produce this product. I assume the lumber is a US product, however, it was not displayed on the boards or shelf tag.

                    by|Dec 19, 2020

A:  The glue bonding agent is an interior-use resin. While not formaldehyde free, it is compliant with CARB2/TSCA Title IV emissions regulations. The Sande tree is native to South America, ours comes from Ecuador.

A:  Our plywood is high quality B-grade material. There are minimal voids, but we cannot guarantee there will be no voids.
