A: We purchased the new line and the installation package. After watching, I could have done, but my wife felt better having a pro do the line when natural gas was involved. They were friendly, timely, and quick in getting it done...and taking our old dryer. That was another plus.

A: I found two gas dryers that are 27 inches wide when I looked at the Home Depot website. Option 1) GE 7.4 cubic foot gas dryer Model GTD72GBSNWS on sale now for $648, was $949. Option 2) LG 7.3 cubic foot gas dryer Model DLG7061WE on sale for $698, was $949. To see the full dimensions, you have to click on the specifications button on their website which is how I found 27 inches wide.
